1 耶和华啊！ 求你拯救我脱离恶人， 求你保护我脱离强暴的人。

2 他们心中图谋恶事， 整天挑启争端。

3 他们使自己的舌头尖利， 如同蛇的舌头； 他们嘴里有虺蛇的毒。（细拉）

4 耶和华啊！ 求你保护我脱离恶人的手， 保护我脱离强暴的人， 因为他们图谋推倒我。

5 骄傲的人暗中布下陷阱害我， 他们在路旁张开绳索作网， 设下圈套陷害我。（细拉）

6 我曾对耶和华说： "你是我的 神； 耶和华啊！ 求你留心听我恳求的声音！ "

7 主耶和华， 拯救我的力量啊， 在争战的日子， 你保护了我的头。

8 耶和华啊！ 求你不要容恶人的心愿得偿， 不要使他们的计谋成功， 免得他们自高自大。（细拉）

9 至于那些围困我的人， 愿他们的头被自己嘴唇的奸恶遮盖。

10 愿炭火落在他们身上； 愿他们掉在深坑里， 不能再起来。

11 愿搬弄是非的人在地上站立不住； 愿灾祸连连猎取强暴的人。

12 我知道耶和华必为困苦人伸冤， 必替穷乏人辨屈。

13 义人必称赞你的名， 正直的人必住在你面前。

Preserve me from the violent man:

Continually do they gather themselves together for war.

3 They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent;

Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.

5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords;

They have spread a net by the wayside;

6 I said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God:

Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Jehovah.

7 O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation,

Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

8 Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked;

Further not his evil device, lest they exalt themselves. [Selah

9 As for the head of those that compass me about,

Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

10 Let burning coals fall upon them:

Let them be cast into the fire,

Into deep pits, whence they shall not rise.

11 An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth:

Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

12 I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted,

And justice for the needy.

13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name:

The upright shall dwell in thy presence.
