2 要把耶和华的名的荣耀归给他， 要以圣洁的装束敬拜耶和华（"要以圣洁的装束敬拜耶和华"或译： "在耶和华显现的时候， 要敬拜他"， 或"要在耶和华圣洁的光辉中敬拜他"）。

3 耶和华的声音在众水之上， 荣耀的 神打雷， 耶和华打雷在大水之上。

4 耶和华的声音大有能力， 耶和华的声音充满威严。

5 耶和华的声音震断了香柏树， 耶和华震断了黎巴嫩的香柏树。

6 他使黎巴嫩山跳跃像牛犊， 使西连山跳跃像野牛犊。

7 耶和华的声音带着火焰劈下。

8 耶和华的声音震撼旷野， 耶和华震撼加低斯的旷野。

9 耶和华的声音惊动母鹿生产， 使林中的树木光秃凋零； 凡是在他殿中的都说： "荣耀啊！ "

10 耶和华坐在洪水之上， 耶和华坐着为王直到永远。

11 愿耶和华赐力量给他的子民， 愿耶和华赐平安的福给他的子民。

1 Ascribe unto Jehovah, O ye sons of the mighty,

Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

2 Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name;

Worship Jehovah in holy array.

3 The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters:

The God of glory thundereth,

Even Jehovah upon many waters.

4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful;

The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

5 The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars;

Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf;

Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

7 The voice of Jehovah cleaveth the flames of fire.

8 The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness;

Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve,

And strippeth the forests bare:

And in his temple everything saith, Glory.

10 Jehovah sat as King at the Flood;

Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.

11 Jehovah will give strength unto his people;

Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
