1 万军之耶和华啊！ 你的居所多么可爱。

2 我的灵渴想切慕耶和华的院子， 我的心身向永活的 神欢呼。

3 万军之耶和华， 我的王我的 神啊！ 在你的祭坛那里， 麻雀找到了住处， 燕子也为自己找到了安置幼雏的巢。

4 住在你殿中的， 都是有福的， 他们还要不断赞美你。（细拉）

5 靠你有力量， 心中向往通到圣殿大道的， 这人是有福的。

6 他们经过干旱的山谷， 使这谷变为泉源之地， 更有秋雨使这谷到处都是水池。

7 他们行走， 力上加力， 直到各人在锡安朝见 神。

8 耶和华万军的 神啊！ 求你听我的祷告； 雅各的 神啊！ 求你留心听。（细拉）

9 神啊！ 求你垂顾我们的盾牌， 求你看顾你的受膏者。

10 在你院子里住一日， 胜过在别处住千日； 宁愿站在我 神殿中的门槛上， 也不愿住在恶人的帐棚里。

11 因为耶和华 神是太阳， 是盾牌， 耶和华赐下恩惠和光荣； 他没有留下一样好处， 不给那些行为正直的人。

12 万军之耶和华啊！ 倚靠你的人是有福的。

1 How amiable are thy tabernacles,

O Jehovah of hosts!

2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah;

My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.

3 Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house,

And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,

Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts,

My King, and my God.

4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house:

They will be still praising thee. [Selah

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee;

In whose heart are the highways to Zion.

6 Passing through the valley of Weeping they make it a place of springs;

Yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.

7 They go from strength to strength;

Every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.

8 O Jehovah God of hosts, hear my prayer;

Give ear, O God of Jacob. [Selah

9 Behold, O God our shield,

And look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.

I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,

Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:

Jehovah will give grace and glory;

No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O Jehovah of hosts,

Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
