1 神啊！ 我哀诉的时候， 求你垂听我的声音； 求你保护我的性命， 脱离仇敌的恐吓。

2 求你把我隐藏， 使我脱离恶人的阴谋， 脱离作孽的人的扰乱。

3 他们磨快自己的舌头， 如同刀剑； 他们吐出恶毒的言语， 好像利箭，

4 要在暗地里射杀完全的人； 他们忽然射杀他， 毫不惧怕。

5 他们彼此鼓励， 设下恶计， 商议暗设网罗， 说： "谁能看见它们呢？"

6 他们图谋奸恶， 说： "我们设计了最精密的阴谋！ "人的意念和心思实在深不可测。

7 但 神要用箭射他们， 他们必忽然受伤。

8 他们各人反被自己的舌头所害， 必然跌倒； 所有看见他们的， 都必摇头。

9 众人都要惧怕， 要传扬 神的作为， 并且要思想他所作的事。

10 愿义人因耶和华欢喜， 并且投靠他； 愿所有心里正直的人， 都因他夸耀。

1 Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint:

Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

2 Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers,

From the tumult of the workers of iniquity;

3 Who have whet their tongue like a sword,

And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words,

4 That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect:

Suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 They encourage themselves in an evil purpose;

They commune of laying snares privily;

They say, Who will see them?

6 They search out iniquities;

We have accomplished, say they, a diligent search:

And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep.

7 But God will shoot at them;

With an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded.

8 So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them:

All that see them shall wag the head.

9 And all men shall fear;

And they shall declare the work of God,

And shall wisely consider of his doing.

10 The righteous shall be glad in Jehovah, and shall take refuge in him;

And all the upright in heart shall glory.
