Salmos 122

ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့ငြိမ်ဝပ်ရန်ဆုတောင်း

1 ငါ​တို့​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​အိမ်​တော်​သို့ သွား​ကြ​ကုန်​အံ့​ဟု သူ​တစ်​ပါး​တို့​သည် ပြော​ကြ​သော​အ​ခါ၊ ငါ​သည် ဝမ်း​မြောက်​ခြင်း​ရှိ၏။ 2 အို ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့၊ သင်၏​တံ​ခါး​တို့​အ​တွင်း၌ ငါ​တို့​သည်​ရပ်၍ နေ​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 3 ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့​သည် စေ့​စပ်​သော​မြို့​ကဲ့​သို့ တည်၏။ 4 အ​မျိုး​အ​နွယ်​တို့​သည် ထို​မြို့​သို့​တက်​ကြ၏။ ဣ​သ​ရေ​လ​အ​မျိုး​ထုံး​စံ​ရှိ​သည်​အ​တိုင်း၊ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏ အ​မျိုး​အ​နွယ်​တို့​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​နာ​မ​တော်​ကို ချီး​မွမ်း​ခြင်း​ငှာ တက်​သွား​ကြ၏။ 5 ထို​မြို့၌ တ​ရား​စီ​ရင်​ရာ​ပ​လ္လင်၊ ဒါ​ဝိဒ်​မင်း​မျိုး၏ ရာ​ဇ​ပ​လ္လင်​တို့​သည် တည်​ကြ၏။ 6 ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့ ငြိမ်​ဝပ်​မည်​အ​ကြောင်း ဆု​တောင်း​ကြ​လော့။ ထို​မြို့​ကို မြတ်​နိုး​စုံ​မက်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် ချမ်း​သာ​ရ​ကြ​ပါ​စေ​သော။ 7 သင်၏​မြို့​ရိုး​အ​တွင်း၌ ငြိမ်​ဝပ်​ခြင်း၊ သင်၏​ဘုံ​ဗိ​မာန်​တို့၌ ချမ်း​သာ​ခြင်း ရှိ​ပါ​စေ​သော။ 8 သင်၌ ငြိမ်​ဝပ်​ခြင်း​ရှိ​ပါ​စေ​သော​ဟု ငါ​သည် ညီ​အစ်​ကို​အ​တွက်၊ အ​ဆွေ​ခင်​ပွန်း​တို့​အ​တွက် ပြော​ဆို​ပါ​မည်။ 9 ငါ​တို့​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​အိမ်​တော်​ကို ထောက်၍၊ သင်၏​အ​ကျိုး​ကို ရှာ​ပါ​မည်။

A Song of Ascents; of David.

1 I was glad when they said unto me,

Let us go unto the house of Jehovah.

2 Our feet are standing

Within thy gates, O Jerusalem,

3 Jerusalem, that art builded

As a city that is compact together;

4 Whither the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah,

For an ordinance for Israel,

To give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

5 For there are set thrones for judgment,

The thrones of the house of David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

They shall prosper that love thee.

7 Peace be within thy walls,

And prosperity within thy palaces.

8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes,

I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God

I will seek thy good.
