Salmos 16

ဘု​ရား​ရှင်ကိုကိုး​စား​ခြင်း

1 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို စောင့်​မ​တော်​မူ​ပါ​ဘု​ရား။ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကို အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ခို​လှုံ​ပါ၏။ 2 ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​သ​ခင် ဖြစ်​တော်​မူ​သည်​ဟု ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​လျှောက်​ဆို​ပါ​ပြီ။ ကျေး​ဇူး​တော်​မှ​တစ်​ပါး အ​ခြား​သော​မင်္ဂ​လာ​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၌ မ​ရှိ​ပါ။ 3 ပြည်​တော်၌​နေ​သော​သန့်​ရှင်း​သူ​နှင့် ထူး​ဆန်း​သော​သူ​တို့​ကို​သာ နှစ်​သက်​ပါ၏။ 4 အ​ခြား​သော​လမ်း​သို့ လိုက်​ပြေး​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် များ​စွာ​သော​ဆင်း​ရဲ​ဒု​က္ခ​ကို ခံ​ရ​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ငါ​သည် သူ​တို့​သွန်း​လောင်း​ရာ ပူ​ဇော်​သ​ကာ​အ​သွေး​ကို မ​လှူ​မ​ဆက်​လို။ သူ​တို့​ဘု​ရား၏​နာ​မ​ကို မ​မြွက်​လို။ 5 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ​အ​မွေ​ခံ​ရာ​အ​ဖို့၊ ငါ​စား​သောက်​ရာ​အ​ဖို့ ဖြစ်​တော်​မူ၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​မွေ​အ​နှစ်​ကို စောင့်​ရှောက်​တော်​မူ၏။ 6 ငါ​ပိုင်​ထိုက်​သော နယ်​နိ​မိတ်​သည် သာ​ယာ​သော​အ​ရပ်​တွင်​ကျ၍၊ ကောင်း​မွန်​သော အ​မွေ​ကို ငါ​ခံ​ရ​ပြီ။

7 ငါ့​ကို​ပြု​စု​တော်​မူ​သော ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို ကောင်း​ချီး​ပေး​မည်။ ည​အ​ချိန်၌​ပင် ငါ့​နှ​လုံး​သည် ငါ့​ကို​နှိုး​ဆော်​တတ်၏။ 8 ငါ​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို အ​စဉ်​မ​ပြတ် မျက်​မှောက်​ပြု၏။ အ​ကြောင်း​မူ​ကား၊ ငါ​လက်​ယာ​ဘက်၌ တည်​ရှိ​တော်​မူ​သည်​ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ​သည်​လှုပ်​ရှား​ခြင်း​မ​ရှိ​ရ။ ထို​ကြောင့် ငါ့​စိတ်​နှ​လုံး​သည်​သာ​ယာ​ခြင်း၊ 9 ငါ့​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​သည်​လည်း ရွှင်​လန်း​ခြင်း​ရှိ၏။ ထို​မှ​တစ်​ပါး၊ ငါ့​အ​သား​သည် မျှော်​လင့်​လျက် ကျိန်း​ဝပ်​လိမ့်​မည်။ 10 အ​ကြောင်း​မူ​ကား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​ကို မ​ရ​ဏ​နိုင်​ငံ၌ ပစ်​ထား​တော်​မ​မူ။ ကိုယ်​တော်၏ သန့်​ရှင်း​သော​သူ​အား​လည်း ပုပ်​စပ်​ခြင်း​ကို​ရှိ​စေ​တော်​မ​မူ​ဘဲ​လျက်၊*တ၊ ၁၃:၃၅။11 အ​သက်​ရှင်​ခြင်း​လမ်း​ကို ပြ​ညွှန်​တော်​မူ​လိမ့်​မည်။ အ​ထံ​တော်၌ စုံ​လင်​သော​ဝမ်း​မြောက်​ခြင်း​အ​ခွင့်​နှင့် လက်​ယာ​တော်​နား​မှာ အ​စဉ်​အ​မြဲ​ပျော်​မွေ့​ခြင်း​အ​ခွင့်​ရှိ​ပါ၏။*တ၊ ၂:၂၅-၂၈။

Michtam of David.

1 Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge.

2 O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord:

I have no good beyond thee.

3 As for the saints that are in the earth,

They are the excellent in whom is all my delight.

4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts for another god:

Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer,

Nor take their names upon my lips.

5 Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup:

Thou maintainest my lot.

6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places;

Yea, I have a goodly heritage.

7 I will bless Jehovah, who hath given me counsel;

Yea, my heart instructeth me in the night seasons.

8 I have set Jehovah always before me:

Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth:

My flesh also shall dwell in safety.

10 For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol;

Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

11 Thou wilt show me the path of life:

In thy presence is fulness of joy;

In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
