ကိုး​စား​သူ​၏​ဆု​တောင်း

1 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည် စိတ်​မ​မြင့်​ပါ။ မျက်​နှာ​လည်း​မ​မော်​ပါ။ ကိုယ်​နှင့်​မ​တန်၊ ကြီး​မြင့်​သော​အ​မှု​တို့၌ မ​ကျင်​လည်​ပါ။ 2 အ​ကယ်​စင်​စစ် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည် အ​မိ​နို့​နှင့် ကွာ​သော သူ​ငယ်​ကဲ့​သို့၊ ကိုယ်​စိတ်​ကို​ဖြေ၍ ငြိမ်း​စေ​ပါ​ပြီ။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​စိတ်​နှ​လုံး​သည် နို့​ကွာ​သော​သူ​ငယ်​ကဲ့​သို့ ဖြစ်​ပါ၏။ 3 ဣ​သ​ရေ​လ​အ​မျိုး​သည် ယ​ခု​မှ​စ၍၊ ကာ​လ​အ​စဉ်​မ​ပြတ် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို မျှော်​လင့်​ပါ​စေ။

1 Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty;

Neither do I exercise myself in great matters,

Or in things too wonderful for me.

2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;

Like a weaned child with his mother,

Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 O Israel, hope in Jehovah

From this time forth and for evermore.
