Salmos 124

ကွယ်​ကာ​တော်​မူ​သော​ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်

1 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ​တို့​ဘက်​မှာ ရှိ​တော်​မ​မူ​လျှင်​ဟူ​သော စ​ကား​နှင့်​ချီ၍၊ ဣ​သ​ရေ​လ​အ​မျိုး​ဆို​ရ​သော စ​ကား​ဟူ​မူ​ကား၊ 2 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ​တို့​ဘက်​မှာ​ရှိ​တော်​မ​မူ​လျှင်၊ လူ​တို့​သည် ငါ​တို့​ရန်​ဘက်၌​နေ​ကြ​သော​အ​ခါ၊ 3 အ​မျက်​ထွက်၍ ငါ​တို့​ကို အ​သက်​နှင့်​တ​ကွ မျို​ကြ​ပြီ​တ​ကား။ 4 ထို​အ​ခါ ငါ​တို့​ကို ရေ​သည်၊ လွှမ်း​မိုး၍ စီး​သော​ရေ​သည် ငါ​တို့​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​အ​ပေါ်​မှာ ကျော်​သွား​ပြီ​တ​ကား။ 5 စော်​ကား​သော​ရေ​တို့​သည် ငါ​တို့​အ​သက်​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​အ​ပေါ်​မှာ ကျော်​သွား​ကြ​ပြီ​တ​ကား။ 6 သူ​တို့​သွား​နှင့် ကိုက်​ခဲ​ရာ​ဖို့ ငါ​တို့​ကို​အပ်​တော်​မ​မူ​သော ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ​တော်​မူ​စေ​သ​တည်း။ 7 ငှက်​သည် မု​ဆိုး​တို့၏​ကျော့​ကွင်း​ထဲ​က​လွတ်​သ​ကဲ့​သို့၊ ငါ​တို့​အ​သက်​သည် လွတ်​လျက်​ရှိ၏။ ကျော့​ကွင်း​ပြတ်၍ ငါ​တို့​သည် လွတ်​ကြ​ပြီ။ 8 ကောင်း​ကင်​နှင့် မြေ​ကြီး​ကို ဖန်​ဆင်း​တော်​မူ​သော ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​နာ​မ​တော်​အား​ဖြင့်၊ ငါ​တို့​သည် မ​စ​ခြင်း​ကျေး​ဇူး​ကို ခံ​ရ​ကြ​သ​တည်း။

1 If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side,

Let Israel now say,

2 If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side,

When men rose up against us;

3 Then they had swallowed us up alive,

When their wrath was kindled against us:

4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us,

The stream had gone over our soul;

5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

6 Blessed be Jehovah,

Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers:

The snare is broken, and we are escaped.

8 Our help is in the name of Jehovah,

Who made heaven and earth.
