ဖိ​နှိပ်​မှု​အ​တွက်​တောင်း​လျှောက်​ခြင်း

1 အ​ကယ်​စင်​စစ် ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​သည် နှ​လုံး​သန့်​ရှင်း​သော​သူ​တည်း​ဟူ​သော ဣ​သ​ရေ​လ​အ​မျိုး၌ ကျေး​ဇူး​ကြီး​တော်​မူ၏။ 2 ငါ​မူ​ကား၊ ခြေ​ချော်​လု​လျက်၊ ခြေ​ရာ​လွဲ​လု​လျက် ရှိ​မိ​ပြီ။ 3 အ​ကြောင်း​မူ​ကား၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့၏ စည်း​စိမ်​ကို​မြင်​သော​အ​ခါ၊ မိုက်​သော​သူ​တို့​ကို​ပင် ငါ​ငြူ​စူ​မိ​ပြီ။ 4 ထို​သူ​တို့​သည် မ​သေ​မီ​တိုင်​အောင် နာ​ကြင်​ခြင်း​ဝေ​ဒ​နာ​မ​ရှိ။ ခိုင်​မာ​သော​အ​စွမ်း​သ​တ္တိ ရှိ​ကြ၏။ 5 သူ​တို့​သည် လော​က​ဓံ​ဒု​က္ခ မ​ရှိ။ လူ​များ​ကဲ့​သို့ အ​နှောင့်​အ​ယှက်​ကို​မ​ခံ​ရ​ကြ။ 6 ထို​ကြောင့် မာ​န​ကို လည်​ဆွဲ​တန်​ဆာ​ကဲ့​သို့​ဆင်၍၊ ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​ခြင်း​အ​ဝတ်​ကို​လည်း ဝတ်​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 7 ဆူ​ဝ​သော​ကြောင့် မျက်​နှာ​မော်​လျက်​ရှိ​ကြ၏။ စိတ်​နှ​လုံး​ကြံ​စည်​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် လွန်​ကျူး​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 8 ဆိုး​သော​ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​ခြင်း​ကို​ပင် ပြက်​ရယ်​ပြု၍ ပြော​တတ်​ကြ၏။ ထောင်​လွှား​သော​စ​ကား​ကို​လည်း သုံး​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 9 သူ​တို့​နှုတ်​သည် ကောင်း​ကင်​နှင့် ဆန့်​ကျင်​ဘက်​ပြု၍၊ လျှာ​သည်​လည်း မြေ​ကြီး​ကို လှည့်​လည်​တတ်၏။ 10 ထို​ကြောင့် ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်၏​လူ​တို့​သည် သူ​တို့​ထံ​သို့ ပြန်​သွား၍ များ​စွာ​သော​ရေ​ကို မျို​ရ​ကြ၏။ 11 ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​သည် အ​ဘယ်​သို့​သိ​တော်​မူ​မည်​နည်း။ အ​မြင့်​ဆုံး​သော​ဘု​ရား၌ ဉာဏ်​ရှိ​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်​လော​ဟု ဆို​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 12 ထို​မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် အ​စဉ်​ကောင်း​စား၍ ဥ​စ္စာ​ပွား​များ​ကြ၏။ 13 အ​ကယ်​စင်​စစ် ငါ့​နှ​လုံး​ကို ငါ​သန့်​ရှင်း​စေ​သော်​လည်း အ​ကျိုး​မ​ရှိ။ အ​ပြစ်​ကင်း​ခြင်း​နှင့် ငါ့​လက်​ကို ဆေး​ကြော​သော်​လည်း အ​ကျိုး​မ​ရှိ။ 14 နေ့​တိုင်း နှောင့်​ယှက်​ခြင်း​နှင့် နံ​နက်​တိုင်း​ဆုံး​မ​ခြင်း​ကို​ငါ​ခံ​ရ၏။

15 ထို​သို့​သ​ဘော​ကျ​မည်​ဟု အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ဆို​လျှင်၊ ကိုယ်​တော်၏​အ​မျိုး​သား​တို့​ကို ပြစ်​မှား​ရာ​သို့ ရောက်​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 16 ထို​အ​မှု​ကို​နား​လည်​ရ​အောင် ဆင်​ခြင်​သော​အ​ခါ အ​လွန်​ခက်​သည်​ဟု ထင်​ပါ၏။ 17 နောက်​မှ ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်၏ သန့်​ရှင်း​ရာ​ဌာ​န​ထဲ​သို့​ဝင်၍၊ သူ​တို့၏​အ​ဆုံး​ကို နား​လည်​ရ​ပါ၏။ 18 အ​ကယ်​စင်​စစ် ကိုယ်​တော်​သည် သူ​တို့​ကို ချော​သော​အ​ရပ်၌ ထား​တော်​မူ​ပြီ။ ဖျက်​ဆီး​ရာ​အ​ရပ်​သို့ ချ​တော်​မူ၏။ 19 တစ်​ခ​ဏ​ချင်း​တွင် အ​ကျိုး​နည်း​ကြ​ပါ​ပြီ​တ​ကား။ ဘေး​ဥ​ပဒ်​များ​အား​ဖြင့် ရှင်း​ရှင်း​ပယ်​ပျောက်​လျက် ရှိ​ကြ​ပါ​ပြီ​တ​ကား။ 20 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ လူ​သည် နိုး​သော​အ​ခါ အိပ်​မက်​ကို​မှတ်​သ​ကဲ့​သို့ သူ​တို့​ကို နှိုး​တော်​မူ​သော​အ​ခါ၊ သူ​တို့​အ​ကြံ​အ​စည်​ကို မ​ထီ​မဲ့​မြင်​ပြု​တော်​မူ​မည်။ 21 ထို​သို့ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည်​နှ​လုံး​နာ​လျက်၊ ကျောက်​ကပ်​မွှေ​နှောက်​လျက်​ရှိ၍၊ 22 မိုက်​သော​သူ၊ ပ​ညာ​မဲ့​သော​သူ ဖြစ်​ပါ၏။ ရှေ့​တော်၌ တိ​ရ​စ္ဆာန်​ကဲ့​သို့ ဖြစ်​ပါ၏။ 23 သို့​သော်​လည်း အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည် ကိုယ်​တော်​ထံ​မှာ​အ​စဉ်​ရှိ၍၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​လက်​ယာ​လက်​ကို ဆွဲ​ကိုင်​တော်​မူ၏။ 24 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို ဉာဏ်​ပေး၍ ပဲ့​ပြင်​တော်​မူ​မည်။ နောက်​တစ်​ဖန် ဘုန်း​အ​သ​ရေ၌ သိမ်း​ယူ​တော်​မူ​မည်။ 25 ကိုယ်​တော်​မှ​တစ်​ပါး၊ ကောင်း​ကင်​ဘုံ​မှာ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၌ အ​ဘယ်​သူ​ရှိ​ပါ​သ​နည်း။ ကိုယ်တော်ကိုအလိုရှိသည်နှင့်အမျှ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာအကျွန်ုပ်သည် အဘယ်အလိုရှိပါသနည်း။ 26 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​အ​သား​နှင့် နှ​လုံး​သည်​ပျက်​ကြ​ပါ၏။ သို့​သော်​လည်း၊ ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​နှ​လုံး၏ အ​စွမ်း​သ​တ္တိ၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အ​စဉ်​အ​မြဲ ခံ​စား​ရာ​အ​ဖို့ ဖြစ်​တော်​မူ၏။ 27 အ​ကယ်​စင်​စစ် ကိုယ်​တော်​နှင့် ဝေး​ဝေး​နေ​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် ပျက်​စီး​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​ရ​ကြ​ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်​နှင့်​ကွာ၍ မှား​ယွင်း​သော​သူ​အ​ပေါင်း​တို့​ကို ပယ်​ရှင်း​တော်​မူ၏။ 28 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မူ​ကား၊ ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင့်​ထံ​တော်​သို့ ချဉ်း​ကပ်၍ အ​ကျိုး​ရှိ​ပါ၏။ အ​မှု​တော်​ရှိ​သ​မျှ​တို့​ကို ကြား​ပြော​ခြင်း​အ​လို​ငှာ၊ အ​ရှင်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၌ ခို​လှုံ​လျက်​နေ​ပါ၏။

A Psalm of Asaph.

1 Surely God is good to Israel,

Even to such as are pure in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone;

My steps had well nigh slipped.

3 For I was envious at the arrogant,

When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 For there are no pangs in their death;

But their strength is firm.

5 They are not in trouble as other men;

Neither are they plagued like other men.

6 Therefore pride is as a chain about their neck;

Violence covereth them as a garment.

7 Their eyes stand out with fatness:

They have more than heart could wish.

8 They scoff, and in wickedness utter oppression:

They speak loftily.

9 They have set their mouth in the heavens,

And their tongue walketh through the earth.

10 Therefore his people return hither:

And waters of a full cup are drained by them.

11 And they say, How doth God know?

And is there knowledge in the Most High?

12 Behold, these are the wicked;

And, being alway at ease, they increase in riches.

13 Surely in vain have I cleansed my heart,

And washed my hands in innocency;

14 For all the day long have I been plagued,

And chastened every morning.

15 If I had said, I will speak thus;

Behold, I had dealt treacherously with the generation of thy children.

16 When I thought how I might know this,

It was too painful for me;

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God,

And considered their latter end.

18 Surely thou settest them in slippery places:

Thou castest them down to destruction.

19 How are they become a desolation in a moment!

They are utterly consumed with terrors.

20 As a dream when one awaketh,

So, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou wilt despise their image.

21 For my soul was grieved,

And I was pricked in my heart:

22 So brutish was I, and ignorant;

I was as a beast before thee.

23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee:

Thou hast holden my right hand.

24 Thou wilt guide me with thy counsel,

And afterward receive me to glory.

25 Whom have I in heaven but thee?

And there is none upon earth that I desire besides thee.

26 My flesh and my heart faileth;

But God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.

27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish:

Thou hast destroyed all them that play the harlot, departing from thee.

28 But it is good for me to draw near unto God:

I have made the Lord Jehovah my refuge,

That I may tell of all thy works.
