Salmos 127

အိမ်​ထောင်၏​ကောင်း​ချီး

1 ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် အိမ်​ကို​ဆောက်​တော်​မ​မူ​လျှင်၊ ဆောက်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် အ​ချည်း​နှီး​လုပ်​ဆောင်​ကြ၏။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် မြို့​ကို​စောင့်​တော်​မ​မူ​လျှင်၊ ကင်း​စောင့်​တို့​သည် အ​ချည်း​နှီး​စောင့်​ကြ၏။ 2 စော​စော​ထ​လျက်၊ ည​နက်​သည်​တိုင်​အောင် မ​အိပ်​ဘဲ​နေ​လျက်၊ ပင်​ပန်း​စွာ အ​စာ​စား​လျက်​နေ​သော်​လည်း အ​ကျိုး​မ​ရှိ။ အိပ်​ပျော်​ရ​သော​အ​ခွင့်​ကို ချစ်​တော်​မူ​သော​သူ​အား အ​မှန်​ပေး​တော်​မူ၏။

3 ဖွား​မြင်​သော သား​သ​မီး​တို့​သည် ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ဆု​ချ၍ ပေး​သ​နား​တော်​မူ​သော အ​မွေ​ဥ​စ္စာ​ဖြစ်​ကြ၏။ 4 အ​သက်​ပျို​စဉ်၊ ဖွား​မြင်​သော​သား​သ​မီး​တို့​သည် သူ​ရဲ​လက်၌​ရှိ​သော မြား​ကဲ့​သို့ ဖြစ်​ကြ၏။ 5 မိ​မိ​မြား​တောင့်​ကို သူ​တို့​နှင့်​ပြည့်​စေ​သော​သူ​သည် မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။ သူ​တို့​သည် ရှက်​ကြောက်​ခြင်း​မ​ရှိ။ ရန်​သူ​တို့​ကို တံ​ခါး​ဝ၌ ဆီး​တား​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။

1 Except Jehovah build the house,

They labor in vain that build it:

Except Jehovah keep the city,

The watchman waketh but in vain.

2 It is vain for you to rise up early,

To take rest late,

To eat the bread of toil;

For so he giveth unto his beloved sleep.

3 Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah;

And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man,

So are the children of youth.

5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:

They shall not be put to shame,

When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
