Salmos 137

တိုင်း​တစ်​ပါးတွင်​မြည်​တမ်း​ခြင်း

1 ဗာ​ဗု​လုန်​မြစ်​တို့​အ​နား​မှာ ငါ​တို့​သည်​ထိုင်၍၊ ဇိ​အုန်​မြို့​ကို​အောက်​မေ့​လျက် ငို​ကြွေး​ကြ၏။ 2 ငါ​တို့​စောင်း​များ​ကို​လည်း ထို​အ​ရပ်​တွင် မိုး​မ​ခ​ပင်​တို့၌ ဆွဲ​ထား​ကြ၏။ 3 အ​ကြောင်း​မူ​ကား၊ ထို​အ​ရပ်၌ ငါ​တို့​ကို ဖမ်း​သွား​ချုပ်​ထား​သော​သူ​နှင့်၊ ငါ​တို့​ကို ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​သော​သူ​တို့​က၊ ဇိ​အုန်​သီ​ချင်း​ကို ငါ​တို့​အား​ဆို​ကြ​လော့​ဟု၊ သီ​ချင်း​ဆို​သံ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ရွှင်​လန်း​သော​အ​သံ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း ငါ​တို့၌ တောင်း​ကြ​ပါ​သည်​တ​ကား။ 4 တစ်​ကျွန်း​တစ်​နိုင်​ငံ၌ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၏​သီ​ချင်း​ကို အ​ဘယ်​သို့ ဆို​ရ​ပါ​မည်​နည်း။ 5 အို​ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့၊ သင့်​ကို ငါ​မေ့​လျှင် ငါ့​လက်​ယာ​လက်​သည် မိ​မိ​အ​တတ်​ကို​မေ့​ပါ​စေ။ 6 သင့်​ကို ငါ​မ​အောက်​မေ့၊ အ​မြတ်​ဆုံး​သော ဝမ်း​မြောက်​ခြင်း​အ​ကြောင်း​ထက်၊ ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့​ကို အ​မြတ်​မ​ထား​လျှင်၊ ငါ့​လျှာ​သည် အာ​ခေါင်၌​ကပ်​ပါ​စေ။

7 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ယေ​ရု​ရှ​လင်​မြို့၏ နေ့​ရက်​အ​ချိန်​ရောက်​သော​အ​ခါ၊ မြို့​ရိုး​ကို အ​မြစ်​တိုင်​အောင် ရှင်း​လိုက်​ကြ၊ ရှင်း​လိုက်​ကြ​ဟု ဆို​ကြ​သော ဧ​ဒုံ​အ​မျိုး​သား​တို့​ကို အောက်​မေ့​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 8 ဖျက်​ဆီး​တတ်​သော ဗာ​ဗု​လုန်​မင်း​သ​မီး၊ သင်​သည် ငါ​တို့၌​ပြု​သည်​အ​တိုင်း၊ သင်၌ အ​ပြစ်​ကို ဆပ်​ပေး​သော​သူ​သည် မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။ 9 သင်၏​သူ​ငယ်​တို့​ကို​ကိုင်​ယူ၍၊ ကျောက်​ပေါ်​မှာ​ဆောင့်​သော​သူ​သည် မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။*ဗျာ၊ ၁၈:၆။

1 By the rivers of Babylon,

There we sat down, yea, we wept,

When we remembered Zion.

2 Upon the willows in the midst thereof

We hanged up our harps.

3 For there they that led us captive required of us songs,

And they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying,

Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

4 How shall we sing Jehovah’s song

In a foreign land?

5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem,

Let my right hand forget her skill.

6 Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth,

If I remember thee not;

If I prefer not Jerusalem

Above my chief joy.

7 Remember, O Jehovah, against the children of Edom

The day of Jerusalem;

Who said, Rase it, rase it,

Even to the foundation thereof.

8 O daughter of Babylon, that art to be destroyed,

Happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee

As thou hast served us.

9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones

Against the rock.
