O reinado do justo Rei

Salmo de Salomão

1 Concede, ó Deus, *1Cr 22.13os teus juízos ao Rei

e a *Sl 24.5tua justiça, ao Filho do Rei.

2 Que ele *Is 9.7;11.2-5;32.1governe com retidão o teu povo

e, com equidade, os *Sl 82.3teus aflitos.

3 Os montes e os outeiros, em justiça,

*Is 2.4;9.5-6;Mq 4.3-4;Zc 9.10produzam paz para o povo.

4 *Is 11.4Julgue ele os aflitos do povo,

salve os filhos dos necessitados

e esmague ao opressor.

5 Temam-te *Sl 89.36-37enquanto existir o sol

e enquanto durar a lua, por todas as gerações.

6 Seja ele *Dt 32.2;2Sm 23.4;Os 6.3como chuva que desce sobre o prado,

como *Sl 65.10chuveiros que regam a terra.

7 *Sl 92.12Floresça em seus dias o justo,

e abundância de paz, até que não haja mais lua.

8 Domine ele também *Êx 23.31;Zc 9.10de mar a mar

e desde o rio, até os confins da terra.

9 *Sl 22.29Curvem-se diante dele os que *Sl 74.14;Is 23.13habitam no deserto,

*Is 49.23;Mq 7.17e lambam o pó os seus inimigos.

10 Paguem tributo os reis de *2Cr 9.21;Sl 48.7Társis e das *Sl 97.1;Is 42.4,10;Sf 2.11ilhas;

*Sl 45.12;68.29ofereçam donativos os reis de *1Rs 10.1;Jó 6.19;Is 60.6Sabá e de *Gn 10.7;Is 43.3Sebá.

11 Prostrem-se diante dele *Sl 138.4;Is 49.23todos os reis,

sirvam-no *Sl 86.9todas as nações.

12 Pois *Sl 72.4;Jó 29.12livrará ao necessitado, quando clamar,

e ao aflito, quando não houver quem lhe acuda.

13 Terá *Pv 19.17;28.8piedade do fraco e do necessitado

e salvará as almas dos indigentes.

14 *Sl 69.18Remirá as suas almas da opressão e da violência,

*Sl 116.15;1Sm 26.21e, precioso será, aos seus olhos, o sangue deles.

15 Viva o Rei! E que lhe deem do *Is 60.6ouro de Sabá;

Roguem por ele continuamente

e bendigam-no em todo o tempo.

16 Haja na terra abundância de trigo até o cume dos montes;

ondule o seu fruto como o *Sl 104.16Líbano,

e da cidade brote a gente *Jó 5.25como erva da terra.

Permaneça o seu *Sl 135.13;Êx 3.15nome para sempre.

17 Haja descendentes do seu nome *Sl 89.36enquanto durar o sol;

nele, se *Gn 12.3;22.18bendigam todas as nações *Lc 1.48e proclamem feliz.

18 *Sl 41.13;89.52;106.48Bendito seja Deus Jeová, Deus de Israel,

*Sl 77.14;86.10;136.4;Êx 15.11;Jó 5.9o único que faz maravilhas!

19 Seja bendito *Sl 96.8;Ne 9.5o seu glorioso nome para sempre!

Encha-se da sua glória *Nm 14.21a terra toda!

1 God, give the king your justice;

your righteousness to the royal son.

2 He will judge your people with righteousness,

and your poor with justice.

3 The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people.

The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.

4 He will judge the poor of the people.

He will save the children of the needy,

and will break the oppressor in pieces.

5 They shall fear you while the sun endures;

and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

6 He will come down like rain on the mown grass,

as showers that water the earth.

7 In his days, the righteous shall flourish,

and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea,

from the River to the ends of the earth.

9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him.

His enemies shall lick the dust.

10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute.

The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before him.

All nations shall serve him.

12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries;

the poor, who has no helper.

13 He will have pity on the poor and needy.

He will save the souls of the needy.

14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence.

Their blood will be precious in his sight.

15 He will live; and Sheba’s gold will be given to him.

Men will pray for him continually.

They will bless him all day long.

16 Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land.

Its fruit sways like Lebanon.

Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.

17 His name endures forever.

His name continues as long as the sun.

Men shall be blessed by him.

All nations will call him blessed.

18 Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel,

who alone does marvelous deeds.

19 Blessed be his glorious name forever!

Let the whole earth be filled with his glory!
