1 A ti Jeová, elevo a minha alma.
2 Deus meu, em ti confio, Não seja eu envergonhado; Não triunfem de mim os meus inimigos.
3 Na verdade ninguém dos que em ti esperam, será envergonhado: Envergonhados serão os que sem causa procedem traiçoeiramente.
4 Mostra-me, Jeová, os teus caminhos; Ensina-me as tuas veredas.
5 Guia-me na tua fidelidade, e ensina-me; Porque tu és o Deus da minha salvação; Em ti espero o dia todo.
6 Lembra-te, Jeová, das tuas comiserações e das tuas benignidades, Porque elas são desde sempre.
7 Não te lembres dos pecados da minha mocidade, nem das minhas transgressões: Segundo a tua benignidade lembra-te de mim, Por amor da tua bondade, ó Jeová.
8 Bom e reto é Jeová; Por isso mostrará o caminho aos pecadores.
9 Guiará os humildes no juízo, Ensinará aos humildes o seu caminho.
10 Todas as veredas de Jeová são benevolência e verdade Para os que guardam a sua aliança e os seus testemunhos.
11 Por amor do teu nome, Jeová, Perdoa a minha iniqüidade, pois é grande.
12 Ao homem que temer a Jeová, Ensinar-lhe-á ele o caminho a escolher.
13 A sua alma permanecerá em prosperidade, E a sua descendência herdará a terra.
14 O segredo de Jeová é para aqueles que o temem, Far-lhe-á conhecer a sua aliança.
15 Os meus olhos estão sempre postos em Jeová, Pois ele tirará do laço os meus pés.
16 Volta-te para mim, e tem de mim piedade; Pois estou desamparado e aflito.
17 As tribulações do meu coração multiplicaram-se; Tira-me das minhas angústias.
18 Olha para a minha aflição e para o meu sofrimento, E perdoa todos os meus pecados.
19 Olha para os meus inimigos, porque são muitos; E com ódio cruel me odeiam.
20 Guarda a minha alma e livra-me; Não seja eu envergonhado, porque em ti me refugio.
21 Preserva-me a integridade e a retidão, Porque em ti espero.
22 Redime, ó Deus, a Israel De todas as suas tribulações.

Don’t let me be shamed.
Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3 Yes, no one who waits for you will be shamed.
They will be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
For you are the God of my salvation.
I wait for you all day long.
6 Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
7 Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.
8 Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9 He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way.
10 All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth
to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name’s sake, Yahweh,
pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12 What man is he who fears Yahweh?
He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13 His soul will dwell at ease.
His offspring will inherit the land.
14 The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him.
He will show them his covenant.
15 My eyes are ever on Yahweh,
for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me,
for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged.
Oh bring me out of my distresses.
18 Consider my affliction and my travail.
Forgive all my sins.
19 Consider my enemies, for they are many.
They hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Oh keep my soul, and deliver me.
Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
for I wait for you.
22 God, redeem Israel
out of all his troubles.
