1 Reina o Senhor. Revestiu-se de majestade;

de poder se revestiu o Senhor e se cingiu.

Firmou o mundo, que não vacila.

2 Desde a antiguidade, está firme o teu trono;

tu és desde a eternidade.

3 Levantam os rios, ó Senhor,

levantam os rios o seu bramido;

levantam os rios o seu fragor.

4 Mas o Senhor nas alturas é mais poderoso

do que o bramido das grandes águas,

do que os poderosos vagalhões do mar.

5 Fidelíssimos são os teus testemunhos;

à tua casa convém a santidade,

Senhor, para todo o sempre.

1 Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty;

Jehovah is clothed with strength; he hath girded himself therewith:

The world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 Thy throne is established of old:

Thou art from everlasting.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Jehovah,

The floods have lifted up their voice;

The floods lift up their waves.

4 Above the voices of many waters,

The mighty breakers of the sea,

Jehovah on high is mighty.

5 Thy testimonies are very sure:

Holiness becometh thy house,

O Jehovah, for evermore.

1 The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.

2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

3 The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea — the LORD on high is mighty.

5 Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.
