Oração para que a paz de Jerusalém continue

1 Regozijei-me quando me disseram:

2 Os nossos pés estão parados

dentro *Sl 9.14;87.2;116.19;Jr 7.2das tuas portas, Jerusalém.

3 Jerusalém que és *Sl 48.13;147.2edificada

como uma cidade *Ne 4.6compacta,

4 aonde *Sl 84.5;Dt 16.16sobem as tribos, as tribos de Jeová,

como testemunho a Israel,

para darem graças ao nome de Jeová.

5 Pois ali estão postos *Sl 89.29;Dt 17.8;2Cr 19.8os tronos de julgar,

os tronos da casa de Davi.

6 Orai pela *Sl 29.11;Jr 29.7paz de Jerusalém.

Gozem de prosperidade os que te *Sl 102.14amam.

7 Haja paz dentro *Sl 51.18;Is 62.6dos teus muros,

e prosperidade, nos teus *Sl 48.3,13;Jr 17.27palácios.

8 Por amor dos meus *Sl 133.1irmãos e amigos,

diga eu: *1Sm 25.6;Jo 20.19Haja paz dentro de ti.

9 Por amor da Casa de Jeová, nosso Deus,

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
