1 Ó Deus, *tu nos rejeitaste, nos *derrubaste;

tens estado *indignado; ó *restabelece-nos de novo.

2 Fizeste estremecer *a terra e fendeste-a;

deste-nos a *beber o vinho de aturdimento.

4 Deste um *estandarte aos que te temem,

*salva com a tua destra e responde-nos.

6 Deus falou na sua *santidade: Exultarei;

dividirei a *Siquém e medirei o vale de *Sucote.

7 Meu é *Gileade, e meu é Manassés;

também *Efraim é a defesa da minha cabeça;

Judá é o meu *cetro.

8 *Moabe é o meu vaso de lavar;

a *Edom atirarei o meu sapato;

por amor de mim, *ó Filístia, rompe em alvoroço.

9 Quem me introduzirá na cidade fortificada?

Quem me levará até Edom?

10 *Não nos rejeitaste tu, ó Deus?

*Não sais, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos!

11 Dá-nos auxílio contra o adversário,

*pois vão é o socorro da parte do homem.

12 *Em Deus, faremos proezas,

porque é ele quem *calcará aos pés os nossos adversários.

6 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.*

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?*

10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.*

12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
