Oração para que Deus tenha misericórdia da nação

1 Mostraste *Sl 77.7;106.4favor, Jeová, à tua terra;

*Sl 14.6;126.1;Ed 1.11;Jr 30.18;Ez 39.25;Os 6.11;Jl 3.1restauraste a prosperidade de Jacó.

2 *Sl 78.38;103.3;Nm 14.19;1Rs 8.34;Jr 31.34Perdoaste a iniquidade do teu povo,

*Sl 32.1encobriste todo o seu pecado. (Selá)

3 *Sl 78.38Retraíste toda a tua cólera,

do furor da *Sl 106.23;Êx 32.12;Dt 13.17;Jn 3.9tua ira te desviaste.

4 *Sl 80.3Restabelece-nos, Deus da nossa salvação,

e *Dn 9.16faze cessar a tua indignação contra nós.

Estenderás a tua ira a todas as gerações?

7 Mostra-nos, Jeová, a tua benignidade

8 Ouvirei o que falar o Deus Poderoso, Jeová;

porque *Sl 29.11;Ag 2.9;Zc 9.10falará paz para o seu povo e para os seus santos.

Porém *Sl 78.57;2Pe 2.21não caiam eles mais em insensatez.

9 Em verdade, *Sl 34.18;Is 46.13a sua salvação está perto dos que o temem,

para que habite a *Sl 84.11;Ag 2.7;Zc 2.5;Jo 1.14glória em nossa terra.

10 Encontraram-se a *Sl 25.10;89.14;Pv 3.3graça e a verdade;

beijaram-se a *Sl 72.3;Is 32.17justiça e a paz.

11 Da terra *Is 45.8brota a verdade,

E a justiça olha lá do céu.

12 *Sl 84.11;Tg 1.17Jeová dará o que é bom;

e a *Sl 67.6;Lv 26.4;Ez 34.27;Zc 8.12nossa terra produzirá o seu fruto.

cujas pegadas ela transformará em caminho.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.*85.3 thyself…: or, thine anger from waxing hot

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
