Louvem o nome do Senhor!
Louvem-no vocês,
servos do Senhor,
2 que estão na Casa do Senhor,
nos átrios da casa do nosso Deus.
3 Louvem o Senhor,
porque o Senhor é bom;
cantem louvores ao seu nome,
porque é agradável.
4 Pois o Senhor escolheu Jacó
para ser dele,
e Israel, para ser
o seu tesouro especial.
5 De fato, eu sei
que o Senhor é grande
e que o nosso Deus está acima
de todos os deuses.
6 Tudo o que agrada ao Senhor,
ele o faz,
nos céus e na terra,
no mar e em todos os abismos.
7 Faz subir as nuvens
dos confins da terra,
faz os relâmpagos para a chuva,
faz sair o vento
dos seus reservatórios.
8 Foi ele quem matou
os primogênitos no Egito,
tanto das pessoas
como dos animais.
9 Foi ele quem fez sinais
e maravilhas
em seu meio, ó Egito,
contra Faraó
e todos os seus servos.
10 Ele destruiu muitas nações
e matou reis poderosos:
11 Seom, rei dos amorreus,
Ogue, rei de Basã,
e todos os reinos de Canaã.
12 E a terra deles deu em herança,
em herança a Israel, seu povo.
13 O teu nome, Senhor,
permanece para sempre;
a tua memória, Senhor, passará
de geração em geração.
14 Pois o Senhor julga o seu povo
e se compadece dos seus servos.
15 Os ídolos das nações
são prata e ouro,
obra de mãos humanas.
16 Têm boca e não falam;
têm olhos e não veem;
17 têm ouvidos e não ouvem;
pois não há alento de vida
em sua boca.
18 Tornam-se semelhantes a eles
os que os fazem,
e todos os que neles confiam.
19 Casa de Israel,
bendigam o Senhor!
Casa de Arão, bendigam o Senhor!
20 Casa de Levi, bendigam o Senhor!
Vocês que temem o Senhor,
bendigam o Senhor!
21 Desde Sião
bendito seja o Senhor,
que habita em Jerusalém!

6 Whatsoever Yahweh hath pleased, he hath done,in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas, and all resounding deeps:
7 Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth,Lightnings for the rain, hath he made, bringing forth wind out of his treasuries.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man, and of beast;
9 Sent signs and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings:
11 Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12 And gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
13 O Yahweh! thy Name, is age-abiding,O Yahweh! thy memorial, is to generation after generation.
14 For Yahweh will vindicate his people,and, on his servants, have compassion.
15 The idols of the nations, are silver and gold, the work of the hands of men:
16 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not;
17 Ears, have they, but they hear not, Nose,there is no breath in their mouth.
18 Like unto them, shall be they who make them, every one who trusteth in them.
19 O house of Israel! bless Yahweh, O house of Aaron! bless Yahweh;
20 O house of Levi! bless Yahweh, Ye that revere Yahweh! bless Yahweh.
21 Blessed be Yahweh out of Zion, Who inhabiteth Jerusalem, Praise ye Yah!
