1 Senhor, quem habitará

no teu tabernáculo?

Quem poderá morar

no teu santo monte?

2 Aquele que vive com integridade,

que pratica a justiça,

e, de coração, fala a verdade;

3 aquele que não difama

com sua língua,

não faz mal ao próximo,

nem lança injúria

contra o seu vizinho;

4 aquele que, a seus olhos,

tem por desprezível

ao que merece reprovação,

mas honra os que temem

o Senhor;

aquele que jura

e cumpre o que prometeu,

mesmo com prejuízo próprio;

5 aquele que não empresta

o seu dinheiro com usura,

nem aceita suborno

contra o inocente.

Quem age assim

não será jamais abalado.

1 O Yahweh! Who shall be a guest in thy tent? Who shall abide in thy holy mountain?

2 He that walketh without blame, and doeth what is right, and speaketh truth with his heart;

3 Hath not carried slander on his tongue, hath not done his friend a wrong, nor, a reproach, taken up against his neighbour;

4 Despised in his sight, is the reprobate, but, them who revere Yahweh, he doth honour, he hath sworn to his neighbour, and will not change;

5 His silver, hath he not put out on interest, nor, a bribe against the innocent, hath he taken. He that doeth these things, shall not be shaken unto times age-abiding.
