1 Faze-me justiça, Senhor,

pois tenho andado

na minha integridade

e confio no Senhor, sem vacilar.

2 Examina-me, Senhor, e prova-me;

sonda o meu coração

e os meus pensamentos.

3 Pois a tua misericórdia,

tenho-a diante dos olhos

e tenho andado na tua verdade.

4 Não me tenho assentado

com gente falsa

e com os hipócritas

não me associo.

5 Detesto a assembleia

dos malfeitores

e com os ímpios não me assento.

6 Lavo as mãos na inocência

e, assim, andarei, Senhor,

ao redor do teu altar,

7 para entoar, com voz alta,

os louvores

e proclamar

todas as tuas maravilhas.

8 Eu amo, Senhor,

a habitação de tua casa

e o lugar onde a tua glória reside.

9 Não colhas a minha alma

com a dos pecadores,

nem a minha vida

com a dos sanguinários,

10 em cujas mãos há crimes

e cuja mão direita

está cheia de subornos.

11 Quanto a mim, porém,

ando na minha integridade;

livra-me e tem compaixão de mim.

12 O meu pé está firme

em terreno plano;

nas congregações,

bendirei o Senhor.

1 Do me justice, O Yahweh, For, I, in my blamelessness, have walked, and, in Yahweh, have I trusted, I will not waver.

2 Try me, O Yahweh, and prove me, Test my reins and my heart:

3 For, thy lovingkindness, hath been before mine eyes, and I have walked to and fro in thy faithfulness;

4 I have not sat with men of deceit, nor, with dissemblers, would I enter;

5 I have hated the convocation of evil-doers, and, with lawless men, would I not sit;

6 I will bathe, in pureness, my hands,so will I go in procession around thine altar, O Yahweh;

7 To sound aloud a song, and to recount all thy wonderful doings.

8 O Yahweh, I have loved the asylum of thy house, even the place of the habitation of thy glory!

9 Do not remove, with sinners, my soul, nor, with men of bloodshed, my life;

10 In whose hands is a plot, and, their right hand, is filled with a bribe.

11 But, I, in my blamelessness, will walk, Redeem me and show me favour.

12 My foot standeth in a level place, In the convocations, will I bless Yahweh.
