Ele se revestiu de majestade;

o Senhor se revestiu de poder

e se cingiu.

Firmou o mundo, que não vacila.

2 O teu trono está firme

desde a antiguidade;

tu és desde a eternidade.

3 Levantam os rios, ó Senhor,

levantam os rios o seu bramido;

levantam os rios o seu fragor.

4 Mas o Senhor nas alturas

é mais poderoso

do que o bramido

das grandes águas,

do que as poderosas

ondas do mar.

5 Os teus testemunhos

são fidelíssimos;

à tua casa convém

a santidade, Senhor,

para todo o sempre.

4 With the sounds of many waters, Majestic are the breakers of the sea, Majestic on high, is Yahweh.

5 Thy testimonies, are strongly confirmed, To thy house, befitting is holiness, O Yahwehto length of days.
