clamo a ti, Senhor.

2 Escuta, Senhor, a minha voz;

estejam alertas os teus ouvidos

às minhas súplicas.

3 Se tu, Senhor,

observares iniquidades,

quem, Senhor, poderá escapar?

4 Mas contigo está o perdão,

para que sejas temido.

5 Aguardo o Senhor,

a minha alma o aguarda;

eu espero na sua palavra.

6 A minha alma anseia pelo Senhor

mais do que os guardas anseiam

pelo romper da manhã.

7 espere Israel no Senhor,

pois no Senhor há misericórdia;

nele, temos ampla redenção.

8 É ele quem redime Israel

de todas as suas iniquidades.

1 Out of the depths, have I cried unto thee, O Yahweh.

2 O My Lord! hearken thou unto my voice,Let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications,

3 If, iniquities, thou shouldest mark, O Yah, O My Lord, who could stand?

4 But, with thee, is forgiveness, that thou mayest be revered.

5 I have waited for Yahweh, My soul hath waited for his word;

6 I have hoped, O my soul, for My Lord, more than they who watch for the morning, who watch for the morning.

7 Wait, O Israel, for Yahweh,for, with Yahweh, is lovingkindness, and there aboundeth with himredemption.

8 He, therefore, will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
