1 Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good;

For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

4 Let them now that fear Jehovah say,

That his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

5 Out of my distress I called upon Jehovah:

Jehovah answered me and set me in a large place.

6 Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:

What can man do unto me?

7 Jehovah is on my side among them that help me:

Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8 It is better to take refuge in Jehovah

Than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to take refuge in Jehovah

Than to put confidence in princes.

10 All nations compassed me about:

In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about:

In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns:

In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

13 Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall;

But Jehovah helped me.

14 Jehovah is my strength and song;

And he is become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous:

The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.

16 The right hand of Jehovah is exalted:

The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live,

And declare the works of Jehovah.

18 Jehovah hath chastened me sore;

But he hath not given me over unto death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness:

I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto Jehovah.

20 This is the gate of Jehovah;

The righteous shall enter into it.

21 I will give thanks unto thee; for thou hast answered me,

And art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders rejected

Is become the head of the corner.

23 This is Jehovah’s doing;

It is marvellous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which Jehovah hath made;

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, we beseech thee, O Jehovah:

O Jehovah, we beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah:

We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.

27 Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light:

Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto thee:

Thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good;

For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.

ce pot să-mi facă niște oameni?

7 Domnul*Ps. 54:4. este ajutorul meu

și mă bucur când îmi văd*Ps. 59:10. împlinită dorința față de vrăjmașii mei.

8 Mai*Ps. 40:4;62:8,9.Ier. 17:5,7. bine este să cauți un adăpost în Domnul

decât să te încrezi în om;

în Numele Domnului, le tai în bucăți.

12 M-au înconjurat ca*Deut. 1:44. niște albine: se sting ca*Ecl. 7:6.Naum 1:10. un foc de spini;

în Numele Domnului, le tai în bucăți.

13 Tu mă împingeai ca să mă faci să cad,

dar Domnul m-a ajutat.

14 Domnul este tăria*Exod 15:2.Is. 12:2. mea și pricina laudelor mele;

El m-a mântuit.

15 Strigăte de biruință și de mântuire se înalță în corturile celor neprihăniți:

dreapta Domnului câștigă biruința!

dreapta Domnului câștigă biruința!

17 Nu*Ps. 6:5.Hab. 1:12. voi muri, ci voi trăi

și voi*Ps. 73:28. povesti lucrările Domnului.

da, dar nu m-a dat pradă morții.

19 Deschideți-mi*Is. 26:2. porțile neprihănirii,

ca să intru și să laud pe Domnul!

20 Iată*Ps. 24:7. poarta Domnului:

pe*Is. 35:8.Apoc. 21:27;22:14,15. ea intră cei neprihăniți.

21 Te laud pentru că m-ai*Ps. 116:1. ascultat,

pentru că m-ai*Vers. 14. mântuit!

22 Piatra*Mat. 21:42.Marcu 12:10.Luca 20:17.Fapte 4:11.Efes. 2:20.1 Pet. 2:4,7. pe care au lepădat-o zidarii

a ajuns să fie pusă în capul unghiului clădirii.

23 Domnul a făcut lucrul acesta

și este o minunăție înaintea ochilor noștri.

24 Aceasta este ziua pe care a făcut-o Domnul:

să ne bucurăm și să ne veselim în ea!

25 Doamne, ajută! Doamne, dă izbândă!

26 Binecuvântat*Mat. 21:9;23:39.Marcu 11:9.Luca 19:38.Zah. 4:7. să fie cel ce vine în Numele Domnului!

Vă binecuvântăm din Casa Domnului.

27 Domnul este Dumnezeu și ne luminează*Est. 8:16.1 Pet. 2:9..

Legați cu funii vita pentru jertfă și aduceți-o până la coarnele altarului!

28 Tu ești Dumnezeul meu, și eu Te voi lăuda;

Dumnezeule*Exod 15:2.Is. 25:1., Te voi preamări.

29 Lăudați*Vers. 1. pe Domnul, căci este bun,

căci în veac ține îndurarea Lui!
