Louvem a Deus na reunião

dos seus servos fiéis.

2 Alegre-se, ó povo de Israel,

por causa do seu Criador!

Fique contente, ó povo de Jerusalém,

por causa do seu Rei!

3 Louvem a Deus, o Senhor, com danças

e, em seu louvor, toquem pandeiros

e liras.

4 Pois o Senhor está contente

com o seu povo;

ele dá aos humildes

a honra da vitória.

5 Que os seus servos fiéis se alegrem

com a vitória

e cantem alegremente nas suas festas!

6 Que eles louvem a Deus,

gritando bem alto,

com espadas afiadas nas mãos

7 para derrotar as nações

e castigar os povos;

8 para prender os seus reis

e as suas autoridades

com pesadas correntes de ferro;

9 para castigar as nações

como Deus mandou!

1 Praise ye Yah, Sing to Yahweh a song that is new, his praise in the convocation of the men of lovingkindness.

6 The high songs of GOD be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

7 To execute an avenging among the nations, rebukes among the peoples:

8 To bind their kings with fetters, and their honoured ones with iron bands:

9 To execute upon them the sentence written, An honour, shall it be to all his men of lovingkindness. Praise ye Yah!
