1 O Senhor Deus é Rei.
Ele está vestido de majestade
e coberto de poder.
A terra está firme no seu lugar
e não pode ser abalada.
2 Ó Senhor, o teu trono
está firme desde o princípio;
tu sempre exististe.
3 Ó Senhor Deus, o mar profundo
levanta a sua voz,
o mar ergue a sua voz e ruge.
4 O Senhor reina no céu com poder.
A sua força é maior do que a fúria
do oceano
e mais poderosa do que as ondas do mar.
5 As tuas leis, ó Senhor,
merecem confiança,
e o teu Templo é santo para sempre.

1 Yahweh, hath become king, With majesty, is he clothed,Clothed is Yahweh, With strength, hath he girded himself, Surely he hath fixed the world, It shall not be shaken.2 Established hath been thy throne from of old, From age-past times, thou art.3 The floods have lifted up, O Yahweh, The floods have lifted uptheir voice, The floods have lifted uptheir dashing waves.4 With the sounds of many waters, Majestic are the breakers of the sea, Majestic on high, is Yahweh.5 Thy testimonies, are strongly confirmed, To thy house, befitting is holiness, O Yahwehto length of days.
