Salmos 105

MRI2012

1 Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name!

Make his doings known among the peoples.

2 Sing to him, sing praises to him!

Tell of all his marvelous works.

3 Glory in his holy name.

Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.

4 Seek Yahweh and his strength.

Seek his face forever more.

5 Remember his marvelous works that he has done:

his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

6 you offspring of Abraham, his servant,

you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

7 He is Yahweh, our God.

His judgments are in all the earth.

8 He has remembered his covenant forever,

the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

9 the covenant which he made with Abraham,

his oath to Isaac,

10 and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute;

to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan,

the lot of your inheritance,"

12 when they were but a few men in number,

yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

13 They went about from nation to nation,

from one kingdom to another people.

14 He allowed no one to do them wrong.

Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

15 "Don’t touch my anointed ones!

Do my prophets no harm!"

16 He called for a famine on the land.

He destroyed the food supplies.

17 He sent a man before them.

Joseph was sold for a slave.

18 They bruised his feet with shackles.

His neck was locked in irons,

19 until the time that his word happened,

and Yahwehs word proved him true.

20 The king sent and freed him,

even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.

21 He made him lord of his house,

and ruler of all of his possessions,

22 to discipline his princes at his pleasure,

and to teach his elders wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt.

Jacob lived in the land of Ham.

24 He increased his people greatly,

and made them stronger than their adversaries.

25 He turned their heart to hate his people,

to conspire against his servants.

26 He sent Moses, his servant,

and Aaron, whom he had chosen.

27 They performed miracles among them,

and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark.

They didn’t rebel against his words.

29 He turned their waters into blood,

and killed their fish.

30 Their land swarmed with frogs,

even in the rooms of their kings.

31 He spoke, and swarms of flies came,

and lice in all their borders.

32 He gave them hail for rain,

with lightning in their land.

33 He struck their vines and also their fig trees,

and shattered the trees of their country.

34 He spoke, and the locusts came

with the grasshoppers, without number.

35 They ate up every plant in their land,

and ate up the fruit of their ground.

36 He struck also all the firstborn in their land,

the first fruits of all their manhood.

37 He brought them out with silver and gold.

There was not one feeble person among his tribes.

38 Egypt was glad when they departed,

for the fear of them had fallen on them.

39 He spread a cloud for a covering,

fire to give light in the night.

40 They asked, and he brought quails,

and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.

41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out.

They ran as a river in the dry places.

42 For he remembered his holy word,

and Abraham, his servant.

43 He brought his people out with joy,

his chosen with singing.

44 He gave them the lands of the nations.

They took the labor of the peoples in possession,

45 that they might keep his statutes,

and observe his laws.

Ko te Atua me Tāna Iwi

1 Whakawhetai ki a Ihowā, karanga atu ki tōna ingoa;

whakapuakina āna mahi ki waenganui o ngā iwi.

2 Waiata ki a ia, hīmene ki a ia;

kōrerotia āna mahi whakamīharo katoa.

3 Whakamanamana ki tōna ingoa tapu;

kia hari te ngākau o te hunga e rapu ana i a Ihowā.

4 Rapua a Ihowā me tōna kaha;

rapua tonutia tōna mata, ake ake.

5 Maharatia āna mahi whakamīharo i mahia e ia,

āna merekara me ngā whakaritenga a tōna māngai,

6 e ngā uri o Āperahama, o tāna pononga,

e ngā tama a Hākopa, e āna i whiriwhiri ai.

7 Ko Ihowā ia, ko tātou Atua;

12 I te mea he hunga torutoru rātou;

āe , he iti rawa, he manene anō ki reira.

13 I a rātou e hāereere ana i tēnei iwi ki tērā atu iwi,

i tētahi rangatiratanga ki tētahi iwi ,

14 kīhai rātou i tukua e ia kia tūkinotia e te tangata;

he whakaaro anō ki a rātou i rīria ai e ia ngā kīngi,

15 i mea ia, "Kei ki āku i whakawahi ai;

kei kino ki āku poropiti."

16 I karangatia e ia te matekai ki te whenua;

whati katoa i a ia te tokotoko, arā te taro.

17 I tonoa e ia he tangata i mua i a rātou;

i hokona a Hōhepa hei pononga.

18 I whakamamaetia ōna waewae ki te mekameka;

takoto ana ia i te rino;

19 ā puta noa tāna kupu,

whakamātautauria ana ia e te kupu a Ihowā.

20 I tono te kīngi, ā, wetekina ana ia;

arā te kīngi o ngā iwi, ā, tukua ana ia.

21 Ā, meinga ana ia e ia hei ariki tōna whare,

hei rangatira ōna taonga katoa;

22 hei herehere i āna rangatira ua pai ia,

hei ako i āna kaumātua ki te whakaaro.

23 I haere mai anō a Īharaira ki Īhipa;

ā, noho ana a Hākopa ki te whenua o Hama.

24 , ka tino whakanuia e ia tāna iwi;

ā, ka meinga rātou kia kaha ake i ō rātou hoariri.

25 I whakakoarotia e ia rātou ngākau kia kino ki tāna iwi,

kia mahi hīanga ki āna pononga.

26 I tonoa e ia a Mohi, tāna pononga,

rāua ko Ārona, ko tāna i whiriwhiri ai.

27 Whakaputaina ana e rāua āna tohu i waenganui i a rātou,

he merekara i te whenua o Hama.

28 I tukua e ia te pōuri, ā, kua pōuri;

kīhai anō rātou i whakakeke ki āna kupu.

29 I whakaputaia kētia e ia ō rātou wai hei toto;

ā, mate ake i a ia ā rātou ngohi.

30 I whakangahue ake rātou whenua i te poroka,

i roto i ngā whare moenga o ō rātou kīngi.

31 I whai kupu ia, ā, puta ana mai ngā pōkai namu;

me te kutu i ō rātou kāinga.

32 I tukua iho e ia ki a rātou te whatu hei ua,

me te ahi mura ki rātou whenua.

33 I pākia anō e ia ā rātou wāina me ā rātou piki;

ā, whatiwhatiia ana e ia ngā rākau o ō rātou kāinga.

34 I kōrero ia, ā, puta ana mai te māwhitiwhiti

me te moka, taea te tatau,

35 ā, kainga katoatia āna ngā otaota o rātou whenua;

pau ake ngā hua o rātou oneone.

36 I whakamatea katoatia anō hoki e ia ngā mātāmua o rātou whenua,

te muanga o rātou kaha.

37 Ā, whakaputaina mai ana rātou e ia, me te hiriwa, me te kōura,

kāhore hoki he mea tūoi i roto i āna iwi.

38 , hari ana a Īhipa i rātou haerenga;

i mau hoki rātou wehi ki a rātou.

39 I horahia e ia te kapua hei hīpoki,

me te ahi hei whakamārama i te .

40 I īnoi rātou, ā, hōmai ana e ia te koitareke;

ā, ka mākona rātou i te taro o te rangi.

41 I wāhia e ia te kōhatu, ā, ka pakaru mai ngā wai;

rere ana i ngā wāhi maroke, koia anō kei te awa.

42 I mahara hoki ia ki tāna kupu tapu,

ki a Āperahama anō, ki tāna pononga.

43 Ā, whakaputaina mai ana e ia tāna iwi i runga i te hari,

āna i whiriwhiri ai i runga i te koa.

44 Ā, hōmai ana e ia ki a rātou ngā whenua o ngā tauiwi;

ā, riro ana i a rātou ngā māuiuitanga o te iwi,

45 kia puritia ai e rātou āna tikanga,

kia mau ai ki āna ture.

Whakamoemititia a Ihowā!
