Salmos 111

MRI2012

1 Praise Yah!111:1 Psalm 111 is an acrostic poem, with each verse after the initial "Praise Yah!" starting with a letter of the alphabet (ordered from Alef to Tav).

I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart,

in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 Yahwehs works are great,

pondered by all those who delight in them.

3 His work is honor and majesty.

His righteousness endures forever.

4 He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered.

Yahweh is gracious and merciful.

5 He has given food to those who fear him.

He always remembers his covenant.

6 He has shown his people the power of his works,

in giving them the heritage of the nations.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice.

All his precepts are sure.

8 They are established forever and ever.

They are done in truth and uprightness.

9 He has sent redemption to his people.

He has ordained his covenant forever.

His name is holy and awesome!

10 The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.

All those who do his work have a good understanding.

His praise endures forever!

Ngā Mahi Miharo a te Atua

1 Whakamoemititia a Ihowā!

Ka whakapaua tōku ngākau ki te whakawhetai ki a Ihowā,

i te rūnanga o te hunga tika, i te whakaminenga.

2 He nui ngā mahi a Ihowā,

e whakatakina ana e te hunga katoa e manako ana ki aua mea.

3 He mea hōnore, he mea korōria tāna mahi;

tonu tōna tika ake ake.

4 Kua meinga e ia kia maharatia āna mahi whakamīharo;

he atawhai a Ihowā, he aroha.

5 E hōmai ana e ia he kai te hunga e wehi ana ki a ia;

ka mahara tonu ia ki tāna kawenata.

6 Kua whakakitea e ia ki tāna iwi te kaha o āna mahi,

i tāna hoatutanga i ngā tauiwi hei kāinga tupu rātou.

7 Ko ngā mahi a ōna ringa he pono, he whakawā tika;

pono tonu āna akoranga katoa.

8 Ū tonu ake ake,

e mahia ana i runga i te pono, i te tika.

9 I tonoa mai e ia he whakaoranga tāna iwi;

kua kīia iho e ia tāna kawenata ake tonu atu;

he tapu tōna ingoa, e wehingia ana.

10 Ko te tīmatanga o te whakaaro nui he wehi ki a Ihowā;

he ngārahu pai te hunga katoa nāna ērā mahi.

Ka mau te whakamoemiti ki a ia, ake ake.
