Salmos 70

1 Hurry, God, to deliver me.

Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.

2 Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul.

Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.

3 Let them be turned because of their shame

who say, "Aha! Aha!"

4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you.

Let those who love your salvation continually say,

"Let God be exalted!"

5 But I am poor and needy.

Come to me quickly, God.

You are my help and my deliverer.

1 Kia hohoro, e te Atua, ki te whakaora i ahau;

e Ihowā, hohoro ki te āwhina i ahau.

2 Kia whakamā, kia pororaru ngātahi te hunga

e rapu ana i tōku wairua.

Kia whakahokia ki muri, kia whakamā te hunga

e hiahia ana kia hē ahau.

3 Kia whakahokia ki muri mō tō rātou whakamā,

te hunga e mea ana ki ahau, "Ha, ha!"

4 Kia hari, kia koa, ki a koe

te hunga katoa e rapu ana i a koe.

Kia mea tonu te hunga e pai ana ki tāu whakaoranga,

"Kia whakanuia te Atua!"

5 Ko ahau ia, he iti, he rawakore;

hohoro mai, e te Atua, ki ahau.

Ko koe tōku āwhina, tōku kaiwhakaora;

kaua rā e whakaroa, e Ihowā.
