Salmos 125

A Song of Ascents.

1 Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion,

which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,

so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

3 For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous,

so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.

4 Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good,

to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways,

Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity.

1 Ko te hunga e whakawhirinaki ana ki a Ihowā ka rite ki Maunga Hiona,

2 Me ngā maunga e taiāwhio nei i Hiruhārama,

te karapoti a Ihowā i tōna iwi,

āianei ā ake tonu atu.

3 E kore hoki te tokotoko a te whakaarokore

e waiho tonu i runga i te wāhi o te hunga tika,

kei totoro te ringa o te hunga tika ki te kino.

4 Kia pai tāu mahi, e Ihowā, ki te, hunga pai,

ki te hunga he tika nei ō rātou ngākau.

5 Ko te hunga ia e peka kē ana ki ō rātou ara kōpikopiko,

mā Ihowā rātou e ārahi tahi atu me ngā kaimahi i te kino.
