2 Bendito é o nome do Senhor, agora e sempre!

3 Que desde o Oriente, onde nasce o Sol, até ao Ocidente, onde se põe, haja por toda a Terra, e sempre, quem louve o Senhor!

5 Quem é como o Senhor nosso Deus, que tem a sua habitação nos céus sublimes?

6 Muito abaixo dele está o firmamento da Terra - para o ver tem de se inclinar!

7 Levanta os pequenos do nível medíocre em que vivem, e tira os desprotegidos da miséria e da lama, para os pôr em igualdade de circunstâncias com os mais categorizados da sociedade, sim, até com chefes de estado!

9 É poderoso para fazer com que a esposa sem filhos se transforme numa mãe feliz! Louvem o Senhor!

1 Praise ye Yah! Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh, Praise the Name of Yahweh;

2 Be the Name of Yahweh blessed, henceforth, even to times age-abiding.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going in thereof, Worthy to be praised, is the Name of Yahweh:

4 High above all nations, is Yahweh, Above the heavens, his glory.

5 Who is like Yahweh our God? that goeth on high to dwell,

6 That cometh down low to look, through the heavens and through the earth;

7 That raiseth, out of the dust, the poor, From the dunghill, uplifteth the needy;

8 To give a seat with nobles, with the nobles of his people!

9 Causing the barren woman to dwell in household, A mother of sons in her joy! Praise ye Yah.
