1 Hallelujah! Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness abideth for ever. 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness; he is gracious, and merciful, and righteous. 5 It is well with the man that is gracious and lendeth; he will sustain his cause in judgment.

6 For he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed confiding in Jehovah; 8 His heart is maintained, he is not afraid, until he see his desire upon his oppressors. 9 He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy; his righteousness abideth for ever: his horn shall be exalted with honour. 10 The wicked man shall see it and be vexed; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Ferice*Ps. 128:1. de omul care se teme de Domnul

și care*Ps. 119:16,35,47,70,143. are o mare plăcere pentru poruncile Lui!

2 Sămânța lui va fi puternică*Ps. 25:13;37:26;102:28. pe pământ;

neamul oamenilor fără prihană va fi binecuvântat.

3 El are în casă bogăție*Mat. 6:33. și belșug

și neprihănirea lui dăinuiește în veci.

4 Celui fără prihană îi răsare o lumină*Iov 11:17.Ps. 97:11. în întuneric,

el este milostiv, îndurător și drept.

5 Ce bine-i*Ps. 37:26.Luca 6:35. merge omului care face milă și împrumută pe altul

și care își rânduiește faptele*Efes. 5:15.Col. 4:5. după dreptate!

6 Căci el nu se clatină niciodată*Ps. 15:5.;

pomenirea*Prov. 10:7. celui neprihănit ține în veci.

7 El nu se teme de*Prov. 1:33. vești rele,

ci inima*Ps. 57:7. lui este tare, încrezătoare*Ps. 64:10. în Domnul.

8 Inima îi este mângâiată, n-are*Prov. 1:33. nicio teamă,

până ce își vede*Ps. 59:10;118:7. împlinită dorința față de potrivnicii lui.

9 El este*2 Cor. 9:9. darnic, dă celor lipsiți;

milostenia*Deut. 24:13. Vers. 3. lui ține în veci;

capul*Ps. 75:10. i se înalță cu slavă.

10 Cel rău*Luca 13:28. vede lucrul acesta și se mânie,

scrâșnește din dinți*Ps. 37:12. și se*Ps. 58:7,8. topește.

Poftele*Prov. 10:28;11:7. celor răi rămân neîmplinite.
