A Psalm of David.

1 Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip. 2 Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart: 3 For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth. 4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers; 5 I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

6 I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah, 7 That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works. 8 Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth. 9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood; 10 In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes. 11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me. 12 My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

2 Cercetează-mă*Ps. 7:9;17:3;66:10;139:23.Zah. 13:9., Doamne, încearcă-mă,

trece-mi prin cuptorul de foc rărunchii și inima!

3 Căci bunătatea Ta este înaintea ochilor mei

și umblu*2 Împ. 20:3. în adevărul Tău.

4 Nu șed împreună cu*Ps. 1:1.Ier. 15:17. oamenii mincinoși

și nu merg împreună cu oamenii vicleni.

5 Urăsc*Ps. 31:6;139:21,22. adunarea celor ce fac răul

și*Ps. 1:1. nu stau împreună cu cei răi.

6 Îmi spăl mâinile în*Exod 30:19,20.Ps. 73:13.1 Tim. 2:8. nevinovăție

și așa înconjor altarul Tău, Doamne,

7 ca să izbucnesc în mulțumiri

și să istorisesc toate minunile Tale.

8 Doamne, eu iubesc*Ps. 27:4. locașul Casei Tale

și locul în care locuiește slava Ta.

9 Nu-mi*1 Sam. 25:29.Ps. 28:3. lua sufletul împreună cu păcătoșii,

nici viața cu oamenii care varsă sânge,

10 ale căror mâini sunt nelegiuite

și a căror dreaptă este plină de mită*Exod 23:8.Deut. 16:19.1 Sam. 8:3.Is. 33:15.!

11 Eu umblu*Vers. 1. în neprihănire;

izbăvește-mă și ai milă de mine!

12 Piciorul*Ps. 40:2. meu stă pe calea cea dreaptă*Ps. 27:11.:

voi binecuvânta pe Domnul în*Ps. 22:22;107:32;111:1. adunări.
