A Psalm of David.

1 Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart. 3 He that slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour; 4 In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not; 5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

3 Acela nu clevetește*Lev. 19:16.Ps. 34:13. cu limba lui, nu face rău semenului său

și nu aruncă*Exod 23:1. ocară asupra aproapelui său.

4 El privește*Est. 3:2. cu dispreț pe cel vrednic de disprețuit,

dar cinstește pe cei ce se tem de Domnul.

El nu-și ia vorba înapoi dacă face un jurământ*Jud. 11:35. în paguba lui.

5 El nu-și dă banii*Exod 22:25.Lev. 25:36.Deut. 23:19.Ezec. 18:8;22:12. cu dobândă

și nu ia mită*Exod 23:8.Deut. 16:19. împotriva celui nevinovat.

Cel ce se poartă așa nu se clatină*Ps. 16:8.2 Pet. 1:10. niciodată.
