1 Praise waiteth for thee in silence, O God*GodHebrew: Elohim in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed. 2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. 3 Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. 4 Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple. 5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God*GodHebrew: Elohim of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ...

6 Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power; 7 Who stilleth the raging of the seas, the raging of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. 8 And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens; thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. 9 Thou hast visited the earth, thou hast watered it; thou greatly enrichest it: the river of God*GodHebrew: Elohim is full of water; thou providest their corn, when thou hast so prepared it: 10 Thou dost satiate its furrows, thou smoothest its clods, thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof. 11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness, and thy paths drop fatness: 12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are girded with gladness. 13 The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, yea, they sing.

Un psalm al lui David. O cântare

1 Cu încredere, Dumnezeule, vei fi lăudat în Sion

și împlinite vor fi juruințele care Ți-au fost făcute.

2 Tu asculți rugăciunea,

de aceea toți oamenii vor veni la*Is. 66:23. Tine.

3 Mă copleșesc*Ps. 38:4;40:12. nelegiuirile,

dar Tu vei ierta*Ps. 51:2;79:9.Is. 6:7.Evr. 9:14.1 Ioan 1:7,9. fărădelegile noastre.

4 Ferice*Ps. 33:12;84:4. de cel pe care-l alegi*Ps. 4:3. Tu și pe care-l primești înaintea Ta,

ca să locuiască în curțile Tale!

Ne vom sătura*Ps. 36:8. de binecuvântarea Casei Tale,

de sfințenia Templului Tău.

5 În bunătatea Ta, Tu ne asculți prin minuni,

Dumnezeul mântuirii noastre,

nădejdea*Ps. 22:27. tuturor marginilor îndepărtate ale pământului și mării!

6 El întărește munții prin tăria Lui

și este*Ps. 93:1. încins cu putere.

7 El*Ps. 89:9;107:29.Mat. 8:26. potolește urletul mărilor, urletul valurilor lor

și zarva*Ps. 16:10.Is. 17:12,13. popoarelor.

8 Cei ce locuiesc la marginile lumii se înspăimântă de minunile Tale.

Tu umpli de veselie răsăritul și apusul îndepărtat.

9 Tu cercetezi*Deut. 11:12. pământul și-i dai*Ps. 68:9,10;104:13.Ier. 5:24. belșug,

îl umpli de bogății

și de râuri*Ps. 46:4. dumnezeiești pline cu apă.

Tu le dai grâu, pe care iată cum îl faci să rodească:

10 îi uzi brazdele,

îi sfărâmi bulgării,

îl înmoi cu ploaia

și-i binecuvântezi răsadul.

11 Încununezi anul cu bunătățile Tale

și pașii Tăi varsă belșugul.

12 Câmpiile pustiei sunt adăpate

și dealurile sunt încinse cu veselie.

13 Pășunile se acoperă de oi

și văile*Is. 55:12. se îmbracă cu grâu:

toate strigă de bucurie și cântă.
