1 Jehovah reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice. 2 Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne. 3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his adversaries round about. 4 His lightnings lightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. 5 The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. 6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory. 7 Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols. Worship him, all ye gods.

8 Zion heard, and rejoiced; and the daughters of Judah were glad, because of thy judgments, O Jehovah. 9 For thou, Jehovah, art the Most High above all the earth; thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods. 10 Ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints, he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. 11 Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart. 12 Rejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

3 Înaintea Lui merge focul*Ps. 18:8;50:3.Dan. 7:10.Hab. 3:5.

și arde de jur împrejur pe potrivnicii Lui.

4 Fulgerele*Exod 19:18.Ps. 77:18;104:32. Lui luminează lumea:

pământul Îl vede și se cutremură.

5 Munții*Jud. 5:5.Mica 1:4.Naum 1:5. se topesc ca ceara înaintea Domnului,

înaintea Domnului întregului pământ.

6 Cerurile*Ps. 19:1;50:6. vestesc dreptatea Lui

și toate popoarele văd slava Lui.

7 Sunt rușinați*Exod 20:4.Lev. 26:1.Deut. 5:8;27:15. toți cei ce slujesc icoanelor

și care se fălesc cu idolii:

toți dumnezeii se închină*Evr. 1:6. înaintea Lui.

8 Sionul aude lucrul acesta și se bucură, se veselesc fiicele lui Iuda

de judecățile Tale, Doamne!

9 Căci Tu, Doamne, Tu ești Cel Preaînalt*Ps. 83:18. peste tot pământul,

Tu ești preaînălțat*Exod 18:11.Ps. 95:3;96:4., mai presus de toți dumnezeii.

10 Urâți răul, cei ce*Ps. 34:14;37:27;101:3.Amos 5:15.Rom. 12:9. iubiți pe Domnul!

El*Ps. 31:23;37:28;145:20.Prov. 2:8. păzește sufletele credincioșilor Lui

și-i izbăvește din*Ps. 37:39,40.Dan. 3:28;6:22,27. mâna celor răi.

11 Lumina este semănată pentru*Iov 22:28.Ps. 112:4.Prov. 4:18. cel neprihănit

și bucuria, pentru cei cu inima curată.

12 Neprihăniților*Ps. 33:1., bucurați-vă în Domnul

și*Ps. 30:4. măriți prin laudele voastre sfințenia Lui!
