20 My soul breaketh for longing after thy judgments at all times.

21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, who wander from thy commandments.

22 Roll off from me reproach and contempt; for I observe thy testimonies.

23 Princes also did sit and talk together against me: thy servant doth meditate in thy statutes.

25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken me according to thy word.

35 Make me to walk in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. 36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to gain.

37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; quicken me in thy way.

39 Turn away my reproach which I fear; for thy judgments are good.

43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; because I have hoped in thy judgments. 44 Then will I keep thy law continually, for ever and ever;

49 Remember the word for thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

51 The proud have derided me beyond measure: I have not declined from thy law.

52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.

53 Burning indignation hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake thy law.

54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55 I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, and have kept thy law. 56 This I have had, because I have observed thy precepts.

65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word. 66 Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed in thy commandments.

68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69 The proud have forged falsehood against me: I will observe thy precepts with my whole heart. 70 Their heart is as fat as grease: as for me, I delight in thy law.

71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes.

72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments.

89 For ever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in the heavens. 90 Thy faithfulness is from generation to generation: thou hast established the earth, and it standeth. 91 By thine ordinances they stand this day; for all things are thy servants.

92 Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 I will never forget thy precepts; for by them thou hast quickened me.

94 I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.

95 The wicked have awaited me to destroy me; but I attend unto thy testimonies.

97 Oh how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

108 Accept, I beseech thee, Jehovah, the voluntary-offerings of my mouth, and teach me thy judgments.

109 My life is continually in my hand; but I do not forget thy law. 110 The wicked have laid a snare for me; but I have not wandered from thy precepts.

90 Credincioșia Ta ține din neam în neam;

Tu ai întemeiat pământul, și el rămâne tare.

91 După legile*Ier. 33:25. Tale stă în picioare totul astăzi,

căci toate lucrurile Îți sunt supuse.

92 Dacă n-ar fi fost Legea*Vers. 24. Ta desfătarea mea,

aș fi pierit în ticăloșia mea.

93 Niciodată nu voi uita poruncile Tale,

căci prin ele mă înviorezi.

94 Al Tău sunt: mântuiește-mă,

căci caut poruncile Tale!

95 Niște răi mă așteaptă ca să mă piardă,

dar eu iau aminte la învățăturile Tale.

96 Văd că tot*Mat. 5:18;24:35. ce este desăvârșit are margini,

poruncile Tale însă sunt fără margini.

97 Cât de mult iubesc Legea Ta!

Toată ziua mă gândesc*Ps. 1:2. la ea.

98 Poruncile Tale mă fac mai înțelept*Deut. 4:6,8. decât vrăjmașii mei,

căci totdeauna le am cu mine.

99 Sunt mai învățat decât toți învățătorii mei,

căci*2 Tim. 3:15. mă gândesc la învățăturile Tale.

100 Am mai*Iov 32:7-9. multă pricepere decât bătrânii,

căci păzesc poruncile Tale.

101 Îmi țin*Prov. 1:15. piciorul departe de orice drum rău,

ca să păzesc Cuvântul Tău.

102 Nu mă depărtez de legile Tale,

căci Tu mă înveți.

103 Ce*Ps. 19:10.Prov. 8:11. dulci sunt cuvintele Tale pentru cerul gurii mele!

Mai dulci decât mierea în gura mea!

104 Prin poruncile Tale mă fac mai priceput,

de aceea urăsc*Vers. 128. orice cale a minciunii.

105 Cuvântul Tău este o candelă*Prov. 6:23. pentru picioarele mele

și o lumină pe cărarea mea.

106 Jur*Neem. 10:29., și mă voi ține de jurământ,

că voi păzi legile Tale cele drepte.

107 Sunt foarte amărât:

înviorează-mă*Vers. 88., Doamne, după Cuvântul Tău!

108 Primește, Doamne, simțămintele*Osea 14:2.Evr. 13:15. pe care le spune gura mea

și învață-mă*Vers. 12,26. legile Tale!

109 Viața*Iov 13:14. îmi este necurmat în primejdie,

și totuși nu uit Legea Ta.

110 Niște răi îmi întind*Ps. 140:5;141:9. curse,

dar eu nu*Vers. 10,21. mă rătăcesc de la poruncile Tale.

111 Învățăturile Tale sunt moștenirea*Deut. 33:4. mea de veci,

căci ele*Vers. 77,92,174. sunt bucuria inimii mele.

112 Îmi plec inima să împlinesc orânduirile Tale,

totdeauna și până*Vers. 33. la sfârșit.

113 Urăsc pe oamenii nehotărâți,

dar iubesc Legea Ta.

114 Tu ești adăpostul*Ps. 32:7;91:1. și scutul meu;

eu nădăjduiesc în făgăduința*Vers. 81. Ta.

115 Depărtați-vă*Ps. 6:8;139:19.Mat. 7:23. de mine, răilor,

ca să păzesc poruncile Dumnezeului meu!

116 Sprijină-mă, după făgăduința Ta, ca să trăiesc

și nu mă lăsa*Ps. 25:2.Rom. 5:5;9:33;10:11. de rușine în nădejdea mea!

117 Fii sprijinul meu, ca să fiu scăpat

și să mă veselesc neîncetat de orânduirile Tale!

118 Tu disprețuiești pe toți cei ce se depărtează*Vers. 21. de orânduirile Tale,

căci înșelătoria lor este zadarnică.

119 Ca*Ezec. 22:18. spuma iei pe toți cei răi de pe pământ,

de aceea eu iubesc învățăturile Tale.

120 Mi se înfioară carnea*Hab. 3:16. de frica Ta

și mă tem de judecățile Tale.

121 Păzesc legea și dreptatea:

nu mă lăsa în voia asupritorilor mei!

122 Ia sub ocrotirea*Evr. 7:22. Ta binele robului Tău

și nu mă lăsa apăsat de niște îngâmfați!

123 Mi se topesc ochii*Vers. 81,82. după mântuirea Ta

și după făgăduința Ta cea dreaptă.

124 Poartă-Te cu robul Tău după bunătatea Ta

și învață-mă*Vers. 12. orânduirile Tale!

125 Eu sunt robul*Ps. 116:16. Tău; dă-mi pricepere,

ca să cunosc învățăturile Tale!

126 Este vremea ca Domnul să lucreze,

căci ei calcă Legea Ta.

127 De aceea*Vers. 72.Ps. 19:10.Prov. 8:11., eu iubesc poruncile Tale

mai mult decât aurul, da, mai mult decât aurul curat.

128 De aceea, găsesc drepte toate poruncile Tale

și urăsc*Vers. 104. orice cale a minciunii.

129 Învățăturile Tale sunt minunate,

de aceea le păzește sufletul meu.

130 Descoperirea cuvintelor Tale dă lumină,

dă pricepere*Ps. 19:7.Prov. 1:4. celor fără răutate.

131 Deschid gura și oftez,

căci sunt*Vers. 20. lacom după poruncile Tale.

132 Întoarce-Ți*Ps. 106:4. Fața spre mine și ai milă de mine,

după*2 Tes. 1:6,7. obiceiul Tău față de cei ce iubesc Numele Tău!

133 Întărește-mi*Ps. 17:5. pașii în Cuvântul Tău

și nu*Ps. 19:13.Rom. 6:12. lăsa nicio nelegiuire să stăpânească peste mine!

134 Izbăvește-mă de*Luca 1:74. asuprirea oamenilor,

ca să păzesc poruncile Tale!

135 Fă să strălucească Fața*Ps. 4:6. Ta peste robul Tău

și învață-mă*Vers. 12,26. orânduirile Tale!

136 Ochii îmi varsă șiroaie*Ier. 9:1;14:17.Ezec. 9:4. de ape,

pentru că Legea Ta nu este păzită.

137 Tu ești drept*Ezra 9:15.Neem. 9:33.Ier. 12:1.Dan. 9:7., Doamne,

și judecățile Tale sunt fără prihană.

138 Tu Îți întemeiezi învățăturile*Ps. 19:7-9. pe dreptate

și pe cea mai mare credincioșie.

139 Râvna*Ps. 69:9.Ioan 2:17. mea mă mănâncă,

pentru că potrivnicii mei uită cuvintele Tale.

140 Cuvântul Tău este cu totul încercat*Ps. 12:6;18:30;19:8.Prov. 30:5.,

și robul Tău îl iubește.

141 Sunt mic și disprețuit,

dar nu uit poruncile Tale.

142 Dreptatea Ta este o dreptate veșnică

și Legea Ta este adevărul*Vers. 151.Ps. 19:9.Ioan 17:17..

143 Necazul și strâmtorarea mă ajung,

dar poruncile Tale sunt desfătarea*Vers. 77. mea.

144 Învățăturile Tale sunt drepte pe vecie:

dă-mi pricepere*Vers. 34,73,169., ca să trăiesc!

145 Te chem din toată inima mea: ascultă-mă, Doamne,

ca să păzesc orânduirile Tale!

146 Te chem: mântuiește-mă,

ca să păzesc învățăturile Tale!

147 O iau înaintea*Ps. 5:3;88:13;130:6. zorilor și strig;

nădăjduiesc*Vers. 74. în făgăduințele Tale.

148 O iau înaintea*Ps. 63:1,6. străjilor de noapte și deschid ochii,

ca să mă gândesc adânc la Cuvântul Tău.

149 Ascultă-mi glasul, după bunătatea Ta,

înviorează-mă*Vers. 40,154., Doamne, după judecata Ta!

150 Se apropie cei ce urmăresc mișelia

și se depărtează de Legea Ta.

151 Dar Tu ești aproape*Ps. 145:18., Doamne,
