1 Come, let us sing aloud to Jehovah, let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation; 2 Let us come before his face with thanksgiving; let us shout aloud unto him with psalms. 3 For Jehovah is a great ·God*GodHebrew: El and a great king above all gods. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also: 5 The sea is his, and he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

7 For he is our God*GodHebrew: Elohim and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. To-day if ye hear his voice, 8 Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah, in the wilderness; 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. 10 Forty years was I grieved with the generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways; 11 So that I swore in mine anger, that they should not enter into my rest.

1 Veniți să cântăm cu veselie Domnului

și să*Ps. 100:1. strigăm de bucurie către Stânca*Deut. 32:15.2 Sam. 22:47. mântuirii noastre.

2 Să mergem înaintea Lui cu laude,

să facem să răsune cântece în cinstea Lui!

3 Căci*Ps. 96:4;97:9;135:5. Domnul este un Dumnezeu mare,

este un Împărat mare, mai presus de toți dumnezeii.

4 El ține în mână adâncimile pământului

și vârfurile munților sunt ale Lui.

5 A Lui este marea*Gen. 1:9,10., El a făcut-o,

și mâinile Lui au întocmit uscatul:

6 veniți să ne închinăm și să ne smerim,

să ne plecăm genunchiul*1 Cor. 6:20. înaintea Domnului, Făcătorului nostru!

7 Căci El este Dumnezeul nostru

și noi*Ps. 79:13;80:1;100:3. suntem poporul pășunii Lui, turma pe care o povățuiește mâna Lui… O! de ați asculta azi*Evr. 3:7,15;4:7. glasul Lui!

8 „Nu vă împietriți inima ca la Meriba*Exod 17:2,7.Num. 14:22.Deut. 6:16.,

ca în ziua de la Masa, în pustie,

9 unde părinții*Ps. 78:18,40,56.1 Cor. 10:9. voștri M-au ispitit

și M-au încercat, măcar că văzuseră*Num. 14:22. lucrările Mele!

10 Patruzeci*Evr. 3:10,17. de ani M-am scârbit de neamul acesta

și am zis: ‘Este un popor cu inima rătăcită;

ei nu cunosc căile Mele.’

11 De aceea am jurat*Num. 14:23,28,30.Evr. 3:11,18;4:3,5. în mânia Mea:

‘Nu vor intra în odihna Mea!’"
