1 My voice is unto God*GodHebrew: Elohim and I will cry; my voice is unto God*GodHebrew: Elohim and he will give ear unto me. 2 In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted. 3 I remembered God*GodHebrew: Elohim and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah. 4 Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak. 5 I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times. 6 I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search. 7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? 8 Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath his word come to an end from generation to generation? 9 Hath ·God*GodHebrew: El forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. 10 Then said I, This is my weakness: — the years of the right hand of the Most High

11 Will I remember, — the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old, 12 And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings. 13 O God*GodHebrew: Elohim thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a god*godHebrew: el as God*GodHebrew: Elohim14 Thou art the ·God*GodHebrew: El that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples. 15 Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. 16 The waters saw thee, O God*GodHebrew: Elohim the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled: 17 The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad: 18 The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked. 19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known. 20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

1 Strig*Ps. 3:4. cu glasul meu către Dumnezeu,

strig cu glasul meu către Dumnezeu, și El mă va asculta.

2 În*Ps. 50:15. ziua necazului meu, caut*Is. 26:9,16. pe Domnul;

noaptea, mâinile îmi stau întinse fără curmare;

sufletul meu nu vrea nicio mângâiere.

3 Mi-aduc aminte de Dumnezeu și gem;

mă gândesc adânc în mine și mi se mâhnește duhul*Ps. 142:3;143:4.. (Oprire)

4 Tu îmi ții pleoapele deschise

și, de mult ce mă frământ, nu pot vorbi.

5 Mă gândesc*Deut. 32:7.Ps. 143:5.Is. 51:9.Ps. 42:8. la zilele de demult,

la anii de odinioară.

6 Mă gândesc la cântările*Ps. 42:8. mele noaptea,

cuget*Ps. 4:4. adânc înăuntrul inimii mele,

îmi cade duhul pe gânduri și zic:

7 „Va lepăda*Ps. 74:1. Domnul pentru totdeauna?

Și nu va mai*Ps. 85:1. fi El binevoitor?

8 S-a isprăvit bunătatea Lui pe vecie?

S-a dus făgăduința*Rom. 9:6. Lui pentru totdeauna?

9 A uitat*Is. 49:15. Dumnezeu să aibă milă?

Și-a tras El, în mânia Lui, înapoi îndurarea?" (Oprire)

10 Atunci îmi zic: „Ceea ce mă face să sufăr*Ps. 31:22.

este că dreapta Celui Preaînalt nu mai este aceeași."

11 Dar tot voi lăuda*Ps. 143:5. lucrările Domnului,

căci îmi aduc aminte de minunile Tale de odinioară;

12 da, mă voi gândi la toate lucrările Tale

și voi lua aminte la toate isprăvile Tale.

13 Dumnezeule, căile*Ps. 73:17. Tale sunt sfinte!

Care*Exod 15:11. dumnezeu este mare ca Dumnezeul nostru?

14 Tu ești Dumnezeul care face minuni;

Tu Ți-ai arătat puterea printre popoare.

15 Prin brațul Tău, Tu ai izbăvit*Exod 6:6.Deut. 9:29. pe poporul Tău,

pe fiii lui Iacov și ai lui Iosif. (Oprire)

16 Când Te-au văzut*Exod 14:21.Ios. 3:15,16.Ps. 14:3.Hab. 3:8. apele, Dumnezeule,

când Te-au văzut apele, s-au cutremurat

și adâncurile s-au mișcat.

17 Norii au turnat apă cu găleata,

tunetul a răsunat în nori,

și*2 Sam. 22:15.Hab. 3:11. săgețile Tale au zburat în toate părțile.

18 Tunetul Tău a izbucnit în vârtej de vânt,

fulgerele*Ps. 97:4. au luminat lumea:

pământul s-a mișcat și s-a*2 Sam. 22:8. cutremurat.

19 Ți-ai croit un drum prin*Hab. 3:15. mare,

o cărare prin apele cele mari,

și*Exod 14:28. nu Ți s-au mai cunoscut urmele.

20 Ai povățuit*Exod 13:21;14:19.Ps. 78:52;80:1.Is. 63:11,12.Osea 12:13. pe poporul Tău ca pe o turmă,

prin mâna lui Moise și Aaron.
