1 Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; sing his praise in the congregation of the godly. 2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King. 3 Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp. 4 For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation. 5 Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of ·God*GodHebrew: El be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand: 7 To execute vengeance against the nations, and punishment among the peoples; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!

1 Lăudați pe Domnul!

Cântați*Ps. 33:3.Is. 42:10. Domnului o cântare nouă,

cântați laudele Lui în adunarea credincioșilor Lui!

2 Să se bucure Israel de Cel ce l-a făcut*Iov 35:10.Ps. 100:3.Is. 54:5.,

să se veselească fiii Sionului de Împăratul*Zah. 9:9.Mat. 21:5. lor!

3 Să laude*Ps. 81:2;150:4. Numele Lui cu jocuri,

să-L laude cu toba și cu harpa!

4 Căci Domnul*Ps. 35:27. are plăcere de poporul Său

și slăvește*Ps. 132:16. pe cei nenorociți mântuindu-i.

5 Să salte de bucurie credincioșii Lui îmbrăcați în slavă,

să scoată strigăte*Iov 35:10. de bucurie în așternutul lor!

6 Laudele lui Dumnezeu să fie în gura lor

și sabia*Evr. 4:12.Apoc. 1:16. cu două tăișuri, în mâna lor,

7 ca să facă răzbunare asupra neamurilor

și să pedepsească popoarele;

8 să lege pe împărații lor cu lanțuri

și pe mai-marii lor cu obezi de fier,

9 ca*Deut. 7:1,2. să aducă la îndeplinire împotriva lor judecata scrisă!

Aceasta*Ps. 148:14. este o cinste pentru toți credincioșii Lui.
