15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands: 16 They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not; 17 They have ears, and they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth. 18 They that make them are like unto them, — every one that confideth in them. 19 House of Israel, bless ye Jehovah; house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah; 20 House of Levi, bless ye Jehovah; ye that fear Jehovah, bless Jehovah. 21 Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem! 2 care*Luca 2:37. stați în Casa Domnului,

în curțile*Ps. 92:13;96:8;116:19. Casei Dumnezeului nostru!

3 Lăudați pe Domnul, căci Domnul este bun*Ps. 119:68.;

cântați Numele Lui, căci*Ps. 147:1. este binevoitor!

4 Căci Domnul Și-a ales pe Iacov*Exod 19:5.Deut. 7:6,7;10:15.,

pe Israel, ca să fie al Lui.

5 Știu că Domnul este mare*Ps. 95:3;97:9.

și că Domnul nostru este mai presus de toți dumnezeii.

6 Domnul face tot*Ps. 115:3. ce vrea

în ceruri și pe pământ,

în mări și în toate adâncurile.

7 El*Ier. 10:13;51:16. ridică norii de la marginile pământului,

dă*Iov 28:25,26;38:24.Zah. 10:1. naștere la fulgere și ploaie

și scoate vântul din cămările*Iov 38:22. lui.

8 El*Exod 12:12,29.Ps. 78:51;136:10. a lovit pe întâii născuți ai Egiptului,

de la oameni până la dobitoace.

9 A trimis*Exod 7—10;14. semne și minuni în mijlocul tău, Egiptule:

împotriva*Ps. 136:15. lui Faraon și împotriva tuturor slujitorilor lui.

10 A*Num. 21:24-26,34,35.Ps. 136:17. lovit multe neamuri

și a ucis împărați puternici:

11 pe Sihon, împăratul amoriților,

pe Og, împăratul Basanului,

și pe toți împărații*Ios. 12:7. Canaanului;

12 și*Ps. 78:55;136:21,22. le-a dat țara de moștenire,

de moștenire poporului Său Israel.

13 Doamne, Numele*Exod 3:15.Ps. 102:12. Tău rămâne pe vecie;

Doamne, pomenirea Ta ține din neam în neam,

14 căci*Deut. 32:36. Domnul va judeca pe poporul Său

și va avea milă de robii Săi.

15 Idolii*Ps. 115:4-8. neamurilor sunt argint și aur,

lucrare făcută de mâinile oamenilor.

16 Au gură, și nu vorbesc,

au ochi, și nu văd,

17 au urechi, și totuși n-aud,

da, n-au suflare în gură.

18 Ca ei sunt cei ce-i fac,

toți cei ce se încred în ei.

19 Casa lui Israel, binecuvântați*Ps. 115:9. pe Domnul!

Casa lui Aaron, binecuvântați pe Domnul!

20 Casa lui Levi, binecuvântați pe Domnul!

Cei ce vă temeți de Domnul, binecuvântați pe Domnul!

21 Domnul să fie binecuvântat din*Ps. 134:3. Sion,

El, care locuiește în Ierusalim!
