To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God*GodHebrew: Elohim of Jacob protect thee; 2 May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3 Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; Selah. 4 Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels. 5 We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God*GodHebrew: Elohim will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!

6 Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God*GodHebrew: Elohim8 They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright. 9 Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.

Un psalm al lui David

1 Să te asculte Domnul în ziua necazului,

să te ocrotească*Prov. 18:10. Numele Dumnezeului lui Iacov,

2 să-ți trimită ajutor din locașul*1 Împ. 6:16.2 Cron. 20:8.Ps. 73:17. Său cel Sfânt

și să te sprijine din Sion!

3 Să-Și aducă aminte de toate darurile tale de mâncare

și să-ți primească arderile-de-tot! (Oprire)

4 Să-ți dea*Ps. 21:2. ce-ți dorește inima

și să-ți împlinească toate planurile tale!

5 Atunci noi ne vom bucura*Ps. 9:14. de biruința ta

și vom flutura steagul în*Exod 17:15.Ps. 60:4. Numele Dumnezeului nostru.

Domnul să-ți asculte toate dorințele tale!

6 Știu de acum că Domnul scapă pe unsul*Ps. 2:2. Său

și-i va răspunde din ceruri, din Locașul Lui cel Sfânt,

prin ajutorul atotputernic al dreptei Lui.

7 Unii*Ps. 33:16,17.Prov. 21:31.Is. 31:1. se bizuiesc pe carele lor, alții, pe caii lor,

dar noi*2 Cron. 32:8. ne bizuim pe Numele Domnului Dumnezeului nostru.

8 Ei se îndoaie și cad,

dar noi ne ridicăm și rămânem în picioare.

9 Scapă, Doamne, pe împăratul

și ascultă-ne când Te chemăm!
