1 Jehovah reigneth, he hath clothed himself with majesty: Jehovah hath clothed himself, he hath girded himself with strength; yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved. 2 Thy throne is established of old; thou art from eternity. 3 The floods lifted up, O Jehovah, the floods lifted up their voice; the floods lifted up their roaring waves. 4 Jehovah on high is mightier than the voices of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea. 5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thy house, O Jehovah, for ever.

1 Domnul*Ps. 96:10;97:1;99:1.Is. 52:7.Apoc. 19:6. împărățește îmbrăcat cu*Ps. 104:1. măreție;

Domnul este îmbrăcat și încins*Ps. 65:6. cu putere,

de aceea lumea este tare*Ps. 96:10. și nu se clatină.

2 Scaunul Tău de domnie este așezat din*Ps. 45:6.Prov. 8:22. vremuri străvechi;

Tu ești din veșnicie!

3 Râurile vuiesc, Doamne,

râurile vuiesc tare,

râurile se umflă cu putere.

4 Dar mai puternic decât vuietul apelor mari

și mai puternic decât vuietul valurilor năprasnice ale mării

este Domnul*Ps. 65:7;89:9. în locurile cerești.

5 Mărturiile Tale sunt cu totul adevărate;

sfințenia este podoaba Casei Tale,

Doamne, pentru tot timpul cât vor ține vremurile.
