| 10 | And he rode upon a cherub, and flew; yes, he flew upon the wings of the wind. | Lehajtotta az eget és leszállt, és homály volt lábai alatt. |
| 11 | He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion around him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. | Kérubon haladt és röpült, és a szelek szárnyain suhant. |

| 15 | Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. | És kibocsátá nyilait és elszéleszté azokat, villámokat szórt és megháborította azokat. |
| 16 | He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. | És meglátszottak a vizek medrei s megmutatkoztak a világ fundamentomai; a te feddésedtõl, Uram, a te orrod leheletének fuvásától. |
| 17 | He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them who hated me: for they were too strong for me. | Lenyúlt a magasból és felvett engem; kivont engem nagy vizekbõl. |
| 18 | They attacked me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. | Megszabadított engem az én erõs ellenségemtõl, s az én gyûlölõimtõl, a kik hatalmasabbak voltak nálamnál. |
| 19 | He brought me forth also in a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. | Rám jöttek veszedelmem napján; de az Úr volt az én támaszom. |
| 20 | The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. | És kivitt engem tágas helyre; kiragadt engem, mert kedvét leli bennem. |
| 21 | For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. | Az Úr megfizetett nékem igazságom szerint, kezeimnek tisztasága szerint fizetett meg nékem; |
| 22 | For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. | Mert megõriztem az Úrnak útait, és gonoszul nem távoztam el az én Istenemtõl. |
| 23 | I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity. | Mert minden ítélete elõttem, és rendeléseit nem hánytam el magamtól. |
| 24 | Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. | És tökéletes voltam elõtte, õrizkedtem az én vétkemtõl. |
| 25 | With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt show thyself upright; | És megfizetett nékem az Úr az én igazságom szerint; kezeim tisztasága szerint, a mi szemei elõtt van. |
| 26 | With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt contend. | Az irgalmashoz irgalmas vagy: a tökéleteshez tökéletes vagy. |
| 27 | For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. | A tisztával tiszta vagy; s a visszáshoz visszás vagy. |
| 28 | For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. | Mert te megtartod a nyomorult népet, és a kevély szemeket megalázod; |
| 29 | For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. | Mert te gyujtod meg az én szövétnekemet; az Úr az én Istenem megvilágosítja az én sötétségemet. |
| 30 | As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. | Mert általad táboron is átfutok, és az én Istenem által kõfalon is átugrom. |
| 31 | For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? | Az Istennek útja tökéletes; az Úrnak beszéde tiszta; paizsuk õ mindazoknak, a kik bíznak benne. |
| 32 | It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. | Mert kicsoda Isten az Úron kivül? És kicsoda kõszikla a mi Istenünkön kivül? |
| 33 | He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. | Az Isten, a ki felövez engem erõvel, és tökéletessé teszi útamat: |

| 43 | Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. | És apróra törtem õket, a milyen a szél elé való por, és megtapodtam õket mint utcza sarát. |

| 45 | The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid from their close places. | A mint hall a fülök, engedelmeskednek, és idegenek is hizelegnek nékem. |
| 46 | The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. | Az idegenek elepedtek, és reszketve jõnek elõ zárt helyeikbõl. |
| 47 | It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. | Él az Úr és áldott az én kõsziklám, magasztaltassék hát az én idvességemnek Istene! |
| 48 | He delivereth me from my enemies: yes, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. | Az Isten, a ki bosszút áll értem, és népeket hajlít alám; |
