| 7 | Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. | Ímé én vétekben fogantattam, és bûnben melengetett engem az anyám. |
| 8 | Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. | Ímé te az igazságban gyönyörködöl, a mely a vesékben van, és bensõmben bölcseségre tanítasz engem. |
| 9 | Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. | Tisztíts meg engem izsóppal, és tiszta leszek; moss meg engemet, és fehérebb leszek a hónál. |
| 10 | Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. | Hallass örömet és vígasságot velem, hogy örvendezzenek csontjaim, a melyeket összetörtél. |
| 11 | Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. | Rejtsd el orczádat az én vétkeimtõl, és töröld el minden álnokságomat. |
| 12 | Restore to me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. | Tiszta szívet teremts bennem, oh Isten, és az erõs lelket újítsd meg bennem. |
| 13 | Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted to thee. | Ne vess el engem a te orczád elõl, és a te szent lelkedet ne vedd el tõlem. |
| 14 | Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. | Add vissza nékem a te szabadításodnak örömét, és engedelmesség lelkével támogass engem. |

| 17 | The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. | Uram, nyisd meg az én ajakimat, hogy hirdesse szájam a te dicséretedet. |
