1 Ouve, ó Deus, o meu clamor!

Atende à minha oração!

2 Ainda que esteja no fim do mundo clamarei por ti,

pois o meu coração está abatido;

leva-me para essa alta rocha de salvação.

3 Porque tens sido o meu refúgio,

como uma alta torre fortificada

onde o adversário nunca me poderá alcançar.

4 Morarei no teu tabernáculo para sempre;

estarei seguro ao abrigo das tuas asas. (Pausa)

5 Pois tu, ó Deus, deste atenção aos meus votos;

deste-me as bênçãos que reservas aos que temem o teu nome.

6 Prolongarás a minha vida de rei;

os meus anos serão muitos e magníficos

como os de muitas gerações juntas.

7 Permanecerei diante de Deus para sempre.

Envia a tua bondade e a tua fidelidade,

para que guardem a minha vida de rei.

8 Então cantarei salmos ao teu nome continuamente,

cumprindo a solene promessa de te louvar todos os dias.

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.*61.4 trust: or, make my refuge

5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.

8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
