He hīmene whakamoemiti.

1 Kia hari te hāmama ki a Ihowā, e ngā whenua katoa.

2 Mahi atu ki a Ihowā i runga i te koa;

waiata haere ki tōna aroaro.

3 Kia mātau ki a Ihowā, ko ia te Atua.

Nāna tātou i hanga, ehara hoki i a tātou;

ko tāna iwi tātou, ko āna hipi e hēpara ai.

4 Tomokia ōna tatau i runga i te whakawhetai,

ōna marae i runga i te whakamoemiti.

Whakawhetai atu ki a ia, whakapaingia tōna ingoa.

5 He pai hoki a Ihowā;

pūmau tonu tāna mahi tohu;

ā, kei tēnā whakatupuranga, kei tēnā whakatupuranga, tōna pono.

A Psalm of thanksgiving.

1 Make a joyful noise unto Jehovah, all ye lands.

2 Serve Jehovah with gladness:

Come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that Jehovah, he is God:

It is he that hath made us, and we are his;

We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,

And into his courts with praise:

Give thanks unto him, and bless his name.

5 For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness endureth for ever,

And his faithfulness unto all generations.
