He Karanga ki ngā Mea Katoa kia Whakamoemititia a Ihowā

1 Whakamoemititia a Ihowā!

Whakamoemititia a Ihowā i runga i ngā rangi;

whakamoemititia ia i ngā wāhi tiketike!

2 Whakamoemititia ia, e āna anahera katoa;

whakamoemititia ia, e āna mano whāioio!

3 Whakamoemititia ia, e te rā, e te marama;

whakamoemititia ia, e ngā whetū whakamārama katoa!

4 Whakamoemititia ia, e ngā rangi o ngā rangi,

e ngā wai hoki o runga atu i ngā rangi!

5 Kia whakamoemititia e rātou te ingoa o Ihowā;

nāna hoki i whakahau, ā, kua hangā rātou.

6 Nāna hoki aua mea i whakapūmau ake ake;

i whakatakotoria e ia he tikanga e kore e taka.

7 Whakamoemititia a Ihowā, i runga i te whenua,

e ngā tarakona, e ngā rire katoa;

8 e te kāpura, e te whatu; e te hukarere, e te kohu;

e te tūpuhi, e mahi nei i tāna kupu!

9 E ngā maunga, e ngā puke katoa;

e ngā rākau hua, e ngā hīta katoa;

10 e ngā kīrehe, e ngā kararehe katoa;

e ngā mea ngōkingōki, e ngā manu whai pākau!

11 E ngā kīngi o te whenua, e ngā iwi katoa,

e ngā rangatira, e ngā kaiwhakawā katoa o te whenua,

12 e ngā taitama, e ngā taitamāhine,

e ngā koroheke rātou ko ngā tamariki!

13 Kia whakamoemititia e rātou te ingoa o Ihowā;

nōna anake hoki te ingoa e nui ana;

kei runga ake i te whenua, i te rangi, tōna korōria.

14 Ko ia hoki te kaiwhakaara o te haona o tāna iwi;

e whakamoemititia ana e āna tāngata tapu katoa;

e ngā tama a Īharaira, e te iwi e tata ana ki a ia.

Whakamoemititia a Ihowā!

1 Praise ye Jehovah.

Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens:

Praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels:

Praise ye him, all his host.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon:

Praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens,

And ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of Jehovah;

For he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also established them for ever and ever:

He hath made a decree which shall not pass away.

7 Praise Jehovah from the earth,

Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor;

Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

9 Mountains and all hills;

Fruitful trees and all cedars;

10 Beasts and all cattle;

Creeping things and flying birds;

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;

Princes and all judges of the earth;

12 Both young men and virgins;

Old men and children:

13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah;

For his name alone is exalted;

His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

14 And he hath lifted up the horn of his people,

The praise of all his saints;

Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him.

Praise ye Jehovah.
