Ko te Atua te Kīngi Tino Nui

1 Waiatatia he waiata hou ki a Ihowā;

waiata, e te whenua katoa, ki a Ihowā.

2 Waiata ki a Ihowā, whakapaingia tōna ingoa;

whakakitea tāna whakaoranga i tēnei rā, i tēnei rā.

3 Whakapuakina tōna korōria i waenganui i ngā tauiwi,

āna mahi whakamīharo i waenganui i ngā iwi katoa.

4 He nui hoki a Ihowā, he tika anō kia nui te whakamoemiti ki a ia;

kia wehingia nuitia ai i ngā atua katoa.

5 He whakapakoko hoki ngā atua katoa o ngā iwi;

nā Ihowā ia i hanga ngā rangi.

6 He hōnore, he korōria kei tōna aroaro;

kei tōna wāhi tapu te kaha me te ātaahua.

7 Waiho atu i a Ihowā, e ngā hapū katoa o ngā iwi;

waiho atu i a Ihowā te korōria me te kaha.

8 Waiho atu i a Ihowā te korōria e tika ana mō tōna ingoa;

maua mai he whakahere, haere mai hoki ki ōna marae.

9 Koropiko ki a Ihowā i roto i te ātaahua o te tapu;

kia wehi rā ki tōna aroaro, e te whenua katoa.

10 Mea atu i waenganui o ngā tauiwi, "E kīngi ana a Ihowā!"

Ka ū te whenua, tē taea te whakangāueue;

ka tika āna whakawā mō ngā iwi.

11 Kia hari ngā rangi, kia koa te whenua,

kia haruru te moana, me ngā mea e hua ana i roto;

12 kia hari te māra, me ngā mea katoa i runga.

Ko reira anō koa ai ngā rākau katoa o te ngahere;

13 ki te aroaro o Ihowā, e haere mai ana hoki ia;

e haere mai ana ia ki te whakawā mō te whenua.

Ka whakawā ia mō te ao i runga i te tika,

mō ngā iwi hoki i runga i tōna pono.

1 Oh sing unto Jehovah a new song:

Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth.

2 Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name;

Show forth his salvation from day to day.

3 Declare his glory among the nations,

His marvellous works among all the peoples.

4 For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised:

He is to be feared above all gods.

5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols;

But Jehovah made the heavens.

6 Honor and majesty are before him:

Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 Ascribe unto Jehovah, ye kindreds of the peoples,

Ascribe unto Jehovah glory and strength.

8 Ascribe unto Jehovah the glory due unto his name:

Bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 Oh worship Jehovah in holy array:

Tremble before him, all the earth.

10 Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth:

The world also is established that it cannot be moved:

He will judge the peoples with equity.

11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

12 Let the field exult, and all that is therein;

Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy

13 Before Jehovah; for he cometh,

For he cometh to judge the earth:

He will judge the world with righteousness,

And the peoples with his truth.
