Kei a Tātou a Ihowā

Ki te tino kaiwhakatangi, mā ngā tama a Koraha. He waiata Arāmoto.

1 Ko te Atua tō tātou piringa, tō tātou kaha;

he kaiāwhina e tino tata ana i ngā wā o te hē.

2 Nā reira kore ake tō tātou wehi, ahakoa nekehia te whenua,

ahakoa kāhakina ngā maunga ki waenga moana;

3 ahakoa rarā, taupatupatu noa ōna wai,

ahakoa wiri ngā maunga i tōna huamo. Hera

4 He awa tēnā ko ōna manga hei whakahari i te pā o te Atua,

i te wāhi tapu o ngā tapenākara o te Runga Rawa.

5 Kei waenganui ōna te Atua, e kore ia e whakakorikoria;

mā te Atua ia e āwhina i te putanga anō o te ata.

6 I nanā ngā tauiwi, i whakakorikoria ngā rangatiratanga;

puaki ana tōna reo, rewa ana te whenua.

7 Kei a tātou a Ihowā o ngā mano,

ko te Atua o Hākopa tō tātou piringa. Hera

8 Haere mai, tirohia ngā mahi a Ihowā,

ngā whakangaromanga i whakaputaina e ia ki te whenua.

9 E whakamutua ana e ia ngā whāinga ā te pito rā anō o te whenua;

whati ana i a ia te kōpere, poro pū te tao,

tahuna ake e ia te hāriata ki te kāpura.

10 "Kia āta noho, ā, kia mātau ko ahau te Atua;

e whakanuia ahau i waenganui i ngā tauiwi,

e whakanuia ahau i te whenua."

1 God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change,

And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,

Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof. [Selah

4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God,

The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:

God will help her, and that right early.

6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved:

He uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 Jehovah of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our refuge. [Selah

8 Come, behold the works of Jehovah,

What desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth;

He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder;

He burneth the chariots in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God:

I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 Jehovah of hosts is with us;

The God of Jacob is our refuge. [Selah
