Te Rangatira Tino Nui

Ki te tino kaiwhakatangi. He hīmene mā ngā tama a Koraha.

1 Pākia ō koutou ringa, e ngā iwi katoa;

hāmama ki te Atua, kia hari te reo.

2 Nō te mea he wehi a Ihowā, te Runga Rawa,

he kīngi nui ia nō te whenua katoa.

3 Māna e riro ai ngā iwi ki raro i a tātou,

me ngā tautāngata ki raro ki ō tātou waewae.

4 Māna e whiriwhiri tō tātou nohoanga mō tātou,

te mea pai rawa o Hākopa, o tāna i aroha ai. Hera

5 Kua kake atu te Atua i roto i te hāmama,

a Ihowā i roto i te tangi o te tētere.

6 Hīmene ki te Atua, hīmene atu;

hīmene ki tō tātou Kīngi, hīmene atu.

7 Ko te Atua hoki te Kīngi o te whenua katoa;

hīmene atu i runga i te mōhio.

8 Ko te Atua te Kīngi o ngā tauiwi;

e noho ana te Atua i runga i te torōna o tōna tapu.

9 Kua huihui ngā rangatira o ngā iwi,

hei iwi mō te Atua o Āperahama.

Nā te Atua hoki ngā whakangungu rākau o te whenua;

kua whakanuia rawatia ia.

1 Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples;

Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

2 For Jehovah Most High is terrible;

He is a great King over all the earth.

3 He subdueth peoples under us,

And nations under our feet.

4 He chooseth our inheritance for us,

The glory of Jacob whom he loved. [Selah

5 God is gone up with a shout,

Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises:

Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7 For God is the King of all the earth:

Sing ye praises with understanding.

8 God reigneth over the nations:

God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 The princes of the peoples are gathered together

To be the people of the God of Abraham;

For the shields of the earth belong unto God:

He is greatly exalted.
